Kasukabe Tsumugi Follower Addon

A companion NPC addon for Minecraft Bedrock Edition featuring Kasukabe Tsumugi - a tameable follower with affection system, combat AI, equipment support, and Japanese voice lines.

Features

Taming & Affection

Wild Tsumugi spawns near villagers in villages (one per world)
Give her Curry to tame (affection +20)
Build friendship over time - 5 affection levels:
- Stranger (0) -> Acquaintance (20) -> Friend (40) -> Close Friend (60) -> Best Friend (80)
Curry increases affection (+10) and restores health (+10 HP)
Spending time together within 5 blocks: +1 affection every 60 seconds

Companion AI

Follows you automatically, teleports when 20+ blocks away
Switch between Follow and Wait modes via interactive menu
Rides boats, chest boats, bamboo rafts, and minecarts with you (only when following)
Safe teleport: won't teleport if you're flying, gliding, or there's no ground within 3 blocks below

Combat

Fights hostile mobs to protect you
Rushes to help when you're attacked (within 15 blocks)
Won't enter combat mode from player attacks
Flees at 20% health, returns to fight when recovered
Base attack damage: 2 (+ weapon bonus)

Death & Respawn

Respawns near owner after 10 seconds
Tame state and affection preserved (death penalty: -5 affection)
All equipped items drop at death location
Wild Tsumugi also auto-respawns

Equipment

Give her weapons and armor - visually displayed!
Weapon damage applies to attacks (supports swords, axes, and trident)
Armor provides damage reduction (up to 80%)
Equipment slots: mainhand, offhand, head, chest, legs, feet
Durability: equipment degrades with use and breaks when depleted (durability bar shown in UI)
Enchantments preserved: enchanted items are returned intact when unequipped or dropped on death (effects are not applied in combat)

Health

Max HP: 40
Passive regeneration: 1 HP every 5 seconds (tamed, even when not nearby)
Curry heals 10 HP

Voice (Japanese)

36 voiced lines generated with VOICEVOX
Reacts to: time of day, weather, combat, taming, interactions, riding, equipment, affection level, death/respawn, and more

Wild Tsumugi

Stays within 30 blocks of a nearby bed
Wanders freely but auto-returns if straying too far
Talk to her for random dialogue lines

Requirements

Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26.0+
Beta APIs experiment must be enabled

Installation

Download the .mcaddon file
Double-click to open with Minecraft (auto-imports both BP and RP)
Create a new world or edit an existing world
Go to Add-Ons section
Activate both Behavior Pack and Resource Pack
IMPORTANT: Enable experiments:
- Go to Settings -> Experiments
- Turn ON Beta APIs
Create/Play the world

How to Play

Find a village - wild Tsumugi spawns near villagers
Craft Curry and give it to her to tame
Keep giving Curry to increase affection and heal
Open the menu to switch between Follow/Wait modes
Give her weapons and armor for combat

Curry Recipe

Craft at a Crafting Table (shapeless):

Bowl
Baked Potato
Carrot
Cooked Beef (Steak)
Wheat

Non-stackable. When eaten by the player, returns a Bowl.
