Description
Jurassic Marsh
Jurassic Marsh transforms the Overworld's swampy landscapes into a wild, overgrown ecosystem filled with prehistoric-inspired creatures, dense vegetation, giant plants, and dangerous new enemies.
Explore the mysterious Jurassic Marsh biome, where massive flowers grow among the vegetation, enormous crops emerge from the ground, and the marsh is inhabited by unique creatures that bring a new atmosphere to survival gameplay.
A New Marsh Environment
Jurassic Marsh introduces a custom biome designed around a warm, humid, and heavily overgrown environment.
The biome features:
- Dense marsh vegetation
- Large ferns and pitcher plants
- Custom grass and vines
- Giant flowers
- Mud and packed-mud patches
- Jungle-style trees, including massive variants
- Naturally generated vegetable patches
- A warm and rainy climate
The biome can naturally replace portions of existing swamp terrain, allowing Jurassic Marsh environments to appear naturally during world generation.
Jurassic Wolf
The Jurassic Wolf is a powerful prehistoric-inspired companion.
- 120 health
- 8 attack damage
- Can be tamed using bone blocks
- Can follow and teleport to its owner
- Can attack hostile creatures
- Can be ridden by the player

Once tamed, the Jurassic Wolf can become a powerful companion for exploring the dangerous marsh.
Jurassic Ocelot
The Jurassic Ocelot is a larger and more powerful variation of the familiar jungle predator.
- 50 health
- 4 attack damage
- Can be tamed with cod or salmon
- Can follow its owner
- Can teleport to its owner when necessary
- Can leap toward targets

Jurassic Spider
Be careful when exploring the marsh at night.
The Jurassic Spider is a dangerous hostile mob with poisonous attacks.
- 24 health
- 4 attack damage
- Applies Poison to targets
- Can climb walls
- Can leap toward targets
- Spawns both on the surface and underground
- Appears primarily in dark conditions

Baby Spider
The Jurassic Spider has a special death mechanic.
When an adult Jurassic Spider dies, 3–5 Jurassic Baby Spiders emerge from its body and immediately begin attacking nearby targets.
Jurassic Baby Spiders are smaller and weaker than adults, but they can quickly become a problem when encountered in groups.
- 10 health
- 2 attack damage
- Poison attacks
- Fast movement
- Can climb walls
Mossy Creeper
The Mossy Creeper is a special variant of the Creeper adapted to the marsh environment.
- 30 health
- Explodes like a Charged Creeper
- Naturally spawns throughout Jurassic Marsh

When a Mossy Creeper explodes, its explosion causes moss to spread around the blast area.
A normal explosion can spread moss across an area around the Creeper, while a charged Mossy Creeper can affect an even larger area.
Instead of simply destroying the environment, Mossy Creepers gradually transform it into a more overgrown landscape.
Swampy Zombie
The Swampy Zombie is a hostile undead mob adapted to the marsh.
- 20 health
- 3 attack damage
- Applies Nausea when attacking

Giant Flowers
Jurassic Marsh introduces oversized versions of several Minecraft flowers.
Naturally generated giant flowers include:
- Giant Poppies
- Giant Dandelions
- Giant Cornflowers
- Giant Alliums
These flowers help give the biome its enormous, overgrown appearance.
The custom flower blocks can also be converted back into their respective flowers, making them useful beyond decoration.
Giant Crops
The marsh is also home to enormous vegetables.
Naturally generated crop patches can contain:
- Giant Carrots
- Giant Potatoes
- Giant Beetroots
