We're thrilled to announce the very first public release of Java sounds for Bedrock, bringing the authentic soundscape of Minecraft Java Edition to your Bedrock experience! This initial version is a comprehensive overhaul of in-game audio, meticulously designed to replicate the classic sounds you know and love.

New Features & Additions:

  • Complete Java Sound Port: Every core sound effect from Minecraft Java Edition has been carefully sourced, optimized, and integrated into Bedrock. This includes:
    • Environmental Ambiance: Enjoy the distinct sounds of rain, thunder, wind, and the unique ambient noises of various biomes.
    • Block & Item Interactions: Experience the satisfying "thwack" of breaking wood, the crisp sound of mining stone, the gentle rustle of leaves, and the unique sounds associated with placing and interacting with all standard blocks and items.
    • Mob Sounds: From the iconic "oof" of a zombie to the satisfying "clink" of a skeleton's bones, all mob sounds are now true to their Java counterparts. Hear creepers hiss, spiders skitter, and cows moo with perfect authenticity.
    • Player Actions: Your character's footsteps, jumping, eating, drinking, and taking damage now sound exactly as they do in Java Edition.
    • User Interface (UI) Sounds: The familiar clicks, chimes, and notifications from menus, inventory, and achievements have been faithfully recreated.
    • Combat Audio: Weapon swings, arrow impacts, and shield blocks now provide the classic Java Edition audio feedback.
    • Miscellaneous Sounds: Many other subtle but crucial sounds that contribute to the overall Minecraft experience have been included.

Improvements & Optimizations:
