Description

⚡ Java Style Regeneration and Saturation Pro — by ZenXveda

The most complete and accurate recreation of Java Edition's health regeneration system, now available for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

🎯 OVERVIEW

Vanilla Minecraft Bedrock Edition handles health regeneration differently from Java Edition — slower, simpler, and with no visual feedback. Java Style Regeneration Pro closes that gap entirely.

This addon faithfully recreates Java Edition's saturation-driven regeneration mechanics, the iconic ripple wave animation across your hearts, individual white heart flash highlights, and the hidden saturation counter displayed directly on your HUD — all without affecting achievements.

⚔️ COMPARISON

🔴 With Java Style Regeneration Pro:

Fast, saturation-based health regeneration — with satisfying visual feedback

⬛ Vanilla Minecraft Bedrock:

Slow, flat regeneration — no animations, no saturation display

❓ HOW DOES SATURATION WORK?

Behind your hunger bar lies an invisible stat called Saturation. It acts as a shield for your hunger, and it directly controls how fast you regenerate health. The higher your saturation, the faster and more efficiently you heal.

Different foods give vastly different saturation values:

Food Saturation Points Effect
🥕 Golden Carrot 14 pts Extremely fast healing
🥩 Cooked Beef 12.8 pts Fast healing
🍞 Bread 6 pts Slow healing
🍎 Apple 2.4 pts Very slow healing

This means that what you eat matters just as much as how much you eat. Eating a Golden Carrot will sustain your health regeneration far longer than eating bread, without needing to eat again.

✨ FEATURES

❤️ Java Regeneration Wave

When you gain a heart of health, the entire row of hearts performs a left-to-right wave ripple, bouncing slightly up and down in sequence — exactly as seen in Java Edition.

💫 White Heart Flash

As each individual heart (or half heart) is actively restored, it briefly flashes with a bright white highlight before settling into its solid red state. The flash lasts precisely 0.25 seconds — an accurate recreation of Java Edition's 5-tick heart pop effect.

🍖 Saturation HUD Display

Your hidden saturation value is now visible in real time as glowing golden outlines overlaid directly on your hunger bar drumsticks. Watch your saturation drain as you regenerate, and see exactly how much healing power your food has given you.

  • Saturation display automatically hides when your hunger is depleted
  • Disappears cleanly on death or on switching to Creative/Spectator mode
  • Zero flickering, zero ghost highlights

🧹 Clean, Minimal HUD

No cluttered action bar text. No black background boxes. No redundant status effect icons. Just a clean, seamless vanilla-feel UI.
