Improved Trading with Villagers

Faster Villager Trades Rerolling

Normally in Minecraft when you break, or move via piston a villagers profession block, if they haven't been traded with previously, they will temporarily unlink from the block, losing their profession, then relink with the block when replaced (or link to another available block in the area). This process takes time to occur. Faster rerolling gives you a much quicker way to accomplish this in exchange for a small cost.

• Villager Reroll Ticket Added
  • Craft with 1 paper, 1 sugarcane, 1 string
  • Click a villager with the reroll ticket in hand, and the below listed cost to reroll the trades instantly
  • Rerolling does not break a villager link with the profession block, so can be done safely regardless of status of other villagers in the area
  • Rerolling can still happen on villagers that have been traded with, and are still level 1. Once a villager has reached level 2, it can no longer be rerolled

Easier Zombification

To get permanent discounts to villager trades, in vanilla Minecraft you must let a zombie kill a villager (on hard difficulty), which will convert that villager into a zombie villager. You then apply the weakness effect to that zombie villager, feed it a golden apple, and it will convert back to a villager that has permanent trade discounts. This process can be difficult as it requires trapping a zombie, and often the villager you want to convert beside each other, but then be able to separate them after the villager is converted

• Crouch + Click a villager with a poisonous potato to convert it to a zombie villager
  • 100% Success chance on Hard
  • 50% Success chance on Normal
  • 0% Success chance on Easy
• Conversion process unchanged. Apply weakness effect, then feed golden apple as per vanilla mechanics

Baby Villager Growth

Baby villagers cannot be force grown like many other friendly mobs in the game. They take 20 minutes to grow from baby to adult form

• Feed a baby villager beetroot until they grow into an adult (children need their veggies after-all)
