I'm a Tamer!

This add-on brings magical companions to Minecraft. They will fight alongside you, heal you, and level up as you explore!

Here is your complete guide on how to find, tame, and train your new friends:

Meet the Companions

Each companion has a unique fighting style and special magical skills:

🦝 Raccoon (The Assassin): A fast melee fighter. They slash enemies and has a chance to trigger a Phantom Slash, attacking multiple monsters at once!

🐢 Tortoise (The Tank): A sturdy protector. When fighting, they grant defensive buffs like Resistance and Fire Resistance to you and your party.

🧚 Faerie (The Healer): A flying supporter. They cast magical Love Waves that heal your health and grant Absorption shields when your health gets too low!

🧙‍♀️ Witchie (The Mage): A powerful caster. She casts area-of-effect spells that make enemies levitate while applying random debuffs like Slowness, Weakness, or Fatal Poison!

How to Find & Rescue Them

You won't just find these pets wandering around—you have to rescue them!

The Enslaver: An evil Pillager called the Enslaver roams the Overworld. He kidnaps poor companions and keeps them hostage with a leash:

The Rescue: Defeat the Enslaver in battle! Once he is defeated, the trapped companion will be freed. Then, use Apple Cookies to tame your new friend. Some other items can be used as well, but Apple Cookies works with any pet: 

Where to look: The Enslaver loves to hunt near passive farm animals. Keep an eye out when you are walking near Pigs, Chickens, Cows, or Sheep!

How to Use the Tamer Totem

When you start the game, you will receive a special item called the Tamer Totem. Hold it and right-click (or tap the screen) to open the Companion Menu.

Step 1: Name Your Pet! When you stand next to a newly rescued pet, using the Totem will ask you to give them a unique name. Once named, they are officially tamed.

Step 2: Manage Your Party! You can have up to 3 active companions fighting with you at the same time. Use the Organize Party button to choose who follows you into battle and who stays resting.

Step 3: Command Your Team! Open a pet's individual menu to tell them to Follow, Sit, Wander, or change their combat stance (Active Combat to attack monsters, or Passive Combat to only defend you).

Step 4: Teleport! Lost your pets during a minecart ride or cave exploration? Use the Teleport button on the main menu to summon all your active pets directly to your side!

Care & Mood System

Your companions have feelings! A pet's mood naturally drops over time, especially if they are neglected or trapped by an Enslaver.

Why mood matters: If your pet becomes Sad (Rank 0), they will refuse to fight and refuse to evolve!

How to make them Happy: Open their menu and select Manage Mood. You can:

• • Caress them (Free! Gives a small mood boost).

  • Feed them Glistering Melon Slices, Golden Apples, or Enchanted Golden Apples for massive happiness boosts!

Note: You can only interact with their mood once every 4 minutes, so take good care of them!

Leveling Up & Evolution

Your pets get stronger as they grow!

Max Level: All companions can be upgraded up to Level 20.

How to Evolve: Open your pet's menu and click the Evolve button. Spending your own Player XP Levels will level up your pet!

Why Level Up? Higher levels increase their attack damage, healing power, spell range, and debuff durations! (Tip: Keep their mood Happy, or evolving them will cost extra XP!)
