The add-on How Many Maids adds maids to your world, missions, and utility items. You can ask her to cook for you, defend you from monsters, or simply hang out and receive head pats. However, the way you treat her will influence how she treats you, and you can even unlock skins as a reward for being a good master.
Kaia Chronos: She is the heart of the addon. Wander through Taiga forests to find her. She acts as your main merchant—talk to her to buy essential items like the Raideney Euthymia book (to summon your maid) or other Utilitary Items
2. Building the Bond: Affinity Level
Your maid’s performance depends on her Affinity Level.
Boost it: Give her gifts, feed her, and fight alongside her.
Avoid: Don't attack her, neglect her sleep, or feed her foods she dislikes, as this will lower your affinity.
Rewards: Higher affinity unlocks new skins, and better cooking skills!
3. The Mechanics of Daily Life
Disposition (Energy): After performing tasks, your maid will lose energy. If her energy is empty, she becomes slow and weak. Simply let her Sleep (in a bed registered via the Task Book) to recover.
Task Book: This is your primary automation tool. Sneak + Click to select your maid, then hold the book and look at a Plate, Furnace, or Bed to register it.
Furnace: She will cook for you and put in the plate.
Plate: She will serve the cooked food.
Bed: Her designated resting spot.
Attacking: In Attack Mode, your maid will protect you from monsters. You can equip her with swords and armors to boost her effectiveness.
4. Progression & Customization
Upgrades: Use Sketchbook Pages in the maid's upgrade menu to boost her damage, defense, or life.
Preferences: Every maid has unique tastes. Pay attention to their descriptions to know exactly what food or activities earn you double the affinity points.
5. Photography & Inspirations
Retro Camera: Use this to capture specific photos requested by Kaia Chronos.
Inspirations: Kaia will give you challenges (like taking photos in a Deep Sea Monument, Lush Caves, or during a lightning storm). Documenting these "Inspirations" and give to her to earn significant amounts of Emeralds.
6. Other Items List
Tiny Bell: Teleports your maid instantly to your location.
Selfie Camera: Use it to take photos of your maid or your world adventures.
Noodles & Dangos: Special foods to heal your companion.
