Hostile World ☠️ (Bedrock Edition)
Hostile World is a survival challenge behavior pack designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition (1.21+). Built using the stable Bedrock Script API, it introduces dynamic environmental hazards, hostile wildlife, and randomized catastrophe events with zero experimental toggles required.
Features
- 210+ Random Events: Triggers unpredictable disasters, mob invasions, and status effects on a randomized timer scaling between 1 and 30 seconds.
- Event-Specific Actionbar Taunts: Each event displays a unique psychological taunt in the actionbar at the bottom of the screen, leaving your main field of view completely unobstructed.
- Anti-Sprint Shifting Floor: Every 1.25 seconds, the block beneath your feet shifts into one of 24 hazards (magma, ice, cobwebs, lava, TNT, etc.). A brief particle-free slowness effect prevents players from simply sprinting over traps.
- 35+ Hostile Wildlife Species: All passive and neutral mobs (farm animals, mounts, villagers, and wild creatures) actively hunt and attack players within a 32-block radius.
- Hostile Marine Environments: Oceans and rivers are active danger zones where fish, squids, and turtles swarm swimmers, while undertow currents pull players downward.
- Cursed Portals (50% Chance): Entering any Nether Portal, End Portal, or Gateway carries an automatic 50% probability of redirecting you to The End void, Nether heights, or the upper stratosphere.
- Clean In-Game Experience: Command feedback and block output are automatically silenced on world load to keep chat clear of clutter.
In-Game Admin Controls
Control pack execution at any time via native slash commands:
/scriptevent hostile:trigger — Manually fires a random event immediately.
/scriptevent hostile:stop — Pauses all active events and hazards.
/scriptevent hostile:start — Resumes the event and hazard loops.
