Well, i hadn't planned a 2nd version, but i got a wild hair.
This version loads better (sometimes the game would fight the add-on and load content after i start removing it) and not to bury the lead but...
It detects your game difficulty! It then makes your island smaller based on the difficulty. You dont notice the detection. it takes 1 tick to determine the difficulty.
The sizes are as folows
hard - 16 x 16 (1 chunk)
normal - 24 x 24 (2.25 chunks)
easy - 32x 32 (4 chunks)
peaceful - 40 x 40 (6.25 chunks)
it was a technical challenge for me to figure out how to detect game difficulty... minecraft really doesnt give you the right tools for the job but it was a fun problem to solve.
