When an invisible player is killed, the death message will hide the killer’s username instead of revealing who attacked them. The killer’s name is replaced with question marks, with the number of question marks matching the length of their Minecraft username.
For example:
Normal:
Steve was slain by DriftyBoy
While invisible:
Steve was slain by ?????????
Players will have to figure out who was responsible instead of immediately seeing the killer’s name in chat.
Normal kills remain unchanged, so the hidden-name effect only applies when the required invisibility condition is met.
