Heart Thief PRO v2.0.0 - The Ultimate Lifesteal SMP Experience

Hey everyone. If you have ever played a long-term survival SMP with your friends, you know how boring the endgame can get. Once everyone has fully enchanted Netherite armor and an Elytra, the fear of survival completely disappears. PvP fights lose their meaning because players just respawn and grab their gear again. I wanted to bring back the tension, the server politics, and the feeling that every single fight could completely change the course of your game.

That is exactly why I created the Heart Thief PRO addon. This expansion transforms your normal Minecraft world into a hardcore Lifesteal SMP. Version 2.0.0 is a massive update where I have completely rewritten the core code from scratch. I have also removed all the old locks and keys, meaning every single premium feature is fully unlocked and free right from day one. If you want to start an intense and incredibly fun survival series with your friends, this is the perfect addon for you.

The Heart Stealing Mechanic and Elimination

The main concept of this addon is simple but incredibly dangerous. Whenever you defeat another player in a fight, you literally steal one of their hearts. This means your maximum health increases by one heart, while the defeated player's maximum health decreases by one heart. This system makes PvP combat incredibly rewarding, but also highly risky.

If a player continuously loses fights and their heart count drops to zero, they are permanently eliminated from the game. The addon will immediately place them into spectator mode where they can no longer interact with the world. Because of this feature, players do not pick fights randomly, and everyone is forced to build highly secure, hidden bases to protect their lives. Server admins also have full control over the maximum number of hearts a player can collect, ensuring that no single person becomes too overpowered.

Heart Trading and Player Economy

Because hearts are now the most valuable resource in the entire game, I built a complete trading system around them. If you have plenty of extra health and your friend is dangerously close to being eliminated, you can actually withdraw your own hearts. By doing this, you lose one heart of maximum health, but you receive a physical heart item in your inventory.

You can then drop this physical heart for another player to consume, which will increase their health. This single feature creates a massive, player-driven economy on your server. Players will stop trading for diamonds and start trading exclusively for hearts. You can even hire hitmen to take out your enemies and pay them using your extra hearts.

Crafting and The Revive System

If your friend gets eliminated, the game is not completely over for them. I added a brand new craftable item to the addon called the Revive Beacon. This item is intentionally very difficult to craft, requiring Nether Stars and a massive amount of valuable resources to put together.

When a surviving player crafts and uses this beacon, they can choose to bring any eliminated player back to life on the server. This creates amazing storylines where players spend hours grinding just to rescue their fallen teammates. Additionally, you can craft extra health hearts using rare mob drops and ores, meaning even if you are not great at PvP, you can still increase your survivability through pure grinding.

Interactive UI and Admin Dashboard

In the older versions of this addon, everything was controlled through chat commands, which was incredibly annoying. In this new update, I moved everything into a clean, modern user interface. Now, if you want to check your stats or withdraw your hearts, all you have to do is hold a Book and sneak. A beautiful menu will open up giving you full control over your character.

For server owners, I built a dedicated Admin Panel. If a glitch happens on the server or a player is caught cheating to steal hearts, the admin can simply hold a Name Tag and sneak to open the moderation tools. From there, the admin can easily fix any player's heart balance or instantly revive someone without needing the crafting items. This ensures your server always remains fair and perfectly balanced.

Important Installation Requirement: The complex background systems required to track individual player health, manage the heart economy, process player eliminations, and render the interactive UI menus rely entirely on advanced custom scripting. Therefore, you MUST go into your World Settings, navigate to the Experiments tab, and turn on the Beta APIs toggle before you load the world. Without this toggle enabled, the health modifications and item menus will not function.
