Happy Ghast with Chests [Mobile Warehouse]

Hi guys! 👋  Today I want to introduce you to my addon for Modjam 2026:

This addon adds a working Mobile Warehouse to the Happy Ghast. When you dismount the Ghast, a structure with chests and storage deploys on the ground below. When you remount, everything saves automatically and the structure disappears.
I spent a lot of time building all of this in JavaScript from scratch, so I hope you enjoy it.

The addon is currently in Single Player only, but I am working on full Multiplayer support where each player will have their own separate warehouse. (The addon is currently in beta but there will be many improvements and if you have any suggestions, write them in the comments! 😉)

Features:

• The Happy Ghast deploys a 9x9 warehouse when you dismount
• Your warehouse is saved and reloaded every time you use it
• The Ghast flies at 7x the vanilla speed
• Up to 13 players can ride at the same time
• Before deploying, the addon checks the area for nearby blocks. If there are houses, pillars or walls nearby, the warehouse will not open and nothing in your world gets destroyed
• When you dismount in the air you get Slow Falling and Resistance until you land
• If the Ghast dies while the warehouse is open, your items are saved automatically
• Your storage auto-saves every 5 seconds while the warehouse is open
• Other players cannot interact with your Ghast once it is registered to you

How to use

• Saddle the Happy Ghast and ride it (using the Harness)
• Fly to an open area with no blocks around
• Dismount and the warehouse will open
• Remount to save and close it
• To reset your warehouse use !reset in chat or /function reset_ghast
