Hello! The addon is just a modification of the original Guard Villagers mod for Java, adapting it to work in Bedrock!

Yes, there is an original page to consult, but Bedrock has some limitations that already affect this addon, so the description should be read to see the real experience with this addon.

Please, almightytallestred, if you're reading this... I know I don't have the right to publish this because the models, textures, and even the idea belong to your team, but I just want to bring a Bedrock version to those who don't have a computer/PC or simply like the Bedrock edition.

LET'S BEGIN!

Guards

The guards are the main mobs in this add-on. They appear in groups of 6 members(3 melee and 3 ranged) and patrol the villages to protect them from raids, monsters, and malicious players who seek to destroy all living beings.

The guards typically appear with spears, swords, and crossbows as their primary equipment.

And even shields and armor!

You can equip the guards with better gear by leaving them on the ground.

Example: diamond swords, shields, netherite breastplate...

WARNING! Guards are so smart they can take your dropped items even when you don't want them to. In fact, this is a very annoying feature for some people... so BE CAREFUL WHERE YOU DROP YOU ARMOR, SHIELD AND WEAPON!!!

Juggernaut

Juggernauts are like the heavy version of an normal melee guard, they are mostly found with tridents or diamond spears, also they have a bigger chance to spawn with iron armor

~~there are some rumors, that the royal council decided juggernauts will be leaders for villages, being able to call for reinforcements.~~

"But how do I recruit villagers to make my own army?"

Well, don't be sad.

Recruiting villagers is simple.

To recruit a villager to be a melee guard, simply right-click (or tap and hold on the screen in front of the villager/interact with them) on a villager with an iron sword, or to make them a ranged guard, interact with a villager with a crossbow.

To recruit a juggernaut, give to an melee guard a tridenr or an diamond spear.

Unfortunately, medics are currently wip (work in progress) so yeah, you can give an book to an villager but nothing will happen, in future updates this will be fixed!

Wait a minute... did I talk just talk about the medic...?

The medic!

A Medic is a villager with alchemist/cleric characteristics. They throw regeneration potions on allies, such as guards, villagers, players, and golems.

Can i contract guards?

Yes, you can tame/contract guards by using emeralds.

Also, i recommend you to not hit guards, they are very emotional after being enlisted in the village's army.

THINGS THAT MAYBE WILL BE ADDED:

–guards that can switch weapons! (between crossbow and sword)

–villager patrols!

–an unification of guards! (ranged and melee will not separatedly spawn, giving both attack types and loot tables to randomly be chosen by a guard)

–medics will be able to tame!

–be able to transform villagers into medics!

–NEW egg textures!

–translations for 10+ languages!

FUN FACT: it don't matter what you do, guards will go back to the nearest village and stay at its borders patrolling it! unless you kill them

FUN FACT ²: a war between zombies and guards can just break out at night! ,you could help your guards
