# 🛡️ Turret Addon - Automatic Defense Turrets

Stop fighting alone. Place a turret and let it defend your base automatically with lasers!

8 automatic turrets that target and shoot hostile mobs by themselves. No ammo needed after crafting. Infinite shots.

Works with all vanilla hostiles: Zombies, Husks, Drowned, Skeletons, Strays, Wither Skeletons, Creepers, Spiders, Cave Spiders, Endermen, Witches, Slimes, Blazes, Ghasts, Piglins, Piglin Brutes, Hoglins, Phantoms, Pillagers, Vindicators, Evokers, Vexes, Ravagers, Guardians, Shulkers, Warden, Wither, Ender Dragon, Breeze, Creaking + any mob from the `monster` family. Never attacks players, villagers or animals.

## ✨ Features

- 8 tiers - better ore = more damage + longer range + faster fire rate

- True line-of-sight: NEVER shoots through walls - voxel raycast check

Same pattern for all, crafting table only. Only the material changes:

- Coal Turret: 8x Coal + 1x Arrow (center)
- Copper Turret: 8x Copper Ingot + 1x Arrow (center)
- Iron Turret: 8x Iron Ingot + 1x Arrow (center)

- Redstone Turret: 8x Redstone + 1x Arrow (center)
- Gold Turret: 8x Gold Ingot + 1x Arrow (center)

## 🎮 How to Use

1. Craft the turret in a Crafting Table
2. Place it on the ground with **2 free blocks above** - if blocked, it returns the item and warns `No space!`
3. Done! It shows a floating name and starts defending automatically
4. Break to remove

No redstone, no fuel, no arrows needed. Just place and forget.

Tip: 4x Iron Turrets on corners covers early-game. Upgrade to Diamond / Emerald for late-game farms and raids.

## ⚙️ How It Works

- Muzzle is at the top of the turret (~2.0 blocks high)
- Scans for hostiles every 0.5s, checks spherical distance + head line-of-sight
- Glass, torches, grass, vines and liquids don't block the laser. Stone, dirt, wood, leaves, doors do block
- On fire: applies tier damage directly + laser particles + orb sounds
- Hologram armor_stand is invisible, auto-repairs if it falls, and is cleaned up when the turret is broken

Admin commands (run as `/scriptevent`):
- `scriptevent turret:list` - list active turrets
- `scriptevent turret:clear` - reset data

## 📦 Installation

Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.80+

1. Download the `.mcaddon`
2. Open with Minecraft
3. World Settings > Behavior Packs > Activate Turret BP
4. World Settings > Resource Packs > Activate Turret RP
5. Enable Beta APIs / Scripting experiments
6. Play!

Includes Behavior + Resource in one file.

## ❓ FAQ

Does it need arrows to shoot? No, only 1 arrow for crafting.
Does it attack players? No.
Does it shoot through walls? No, full voxel LoS check.
Does it work multiplayer / Realms? Yes, if scripts are enabled.
My turret disappeared? Make sure chunks stay loaded and you have 2 blocks free above when placing.
