Description

Get the add-on that I use for my Minecraft extraction shooter map "Get Out". Not everything from the map is included in the add-on! Not survival friendly (items can't be acquired in survival).

On some devices the guns are not centered when aiming with the sight!

Guns and enemies are coded in lightweight, however, with increasing number of enemies and players there might be lags! The health system is expanded by bleeding, broken bones and pain (vanilla effects). Custom medical items are required to treat these injuries. Furthermore, please note that the add-on depends on a modified player.json (BP) and therefore is not compatible with other mods that change player properties in the same way!

Things that are INCLUDED:

  • Guns (Vector, HK416, M16, M110, FAL, Shotgun, Pistol, Sniper Rifle, MGL)
  • Ammo Variants, Attachments (Silencers, Scopes)
  • Armor (Body armor, Helmets, Visor)
  • Mobs (Friendly & hostile PMC Operators, Grunts, Survilians, Vagner, Vydra, Razor, Wade)
  • Tank, Airdrop, Targets 
  • Specific Items (Grenades, Medicals, Equipment coupon)

Things that are EXCLUDED*:

  • Custom Blocks 
  • Block TextMinecraftures 
  • Items (Miscellanious items, Safe Container, Keys, Cosmetics)
  • Map-specific Entities (Shops/Traders, Extraction points, Dummies...)

Summary of the add-on's LIMITS:

  • Damage immunity exists
  • Bullets deal random damage
  • Uses player.json
  • Not survival friendly
  • No reload button
  • Scope not centered on some devices
  • Custom injuries use (retextured) vanilla effects
  • Gun data are stored on the weapon type, not the item. Consequently it's not possible to use multiple items of the same gun to switch to the next item once the first one is empty. The second gun will be empty as well. (Other guns are still treated separately)

The DAMAGE system:

The Minecraft immunity after being hurt is still enabled here. Therefore the damage of bullets is randomized to a certain degree, to make automatic shooting still a valid option. Because while damage immunity is in place right after a hit, higher damage still counts. In summary this means: Shooting once deals low to high random damage. Shooting multiple times increases the chance to deal high damage with any of the bullets, thus is effective. 

The damage range of bullets is here determined by:

  • Caliber  -  Min. damage (eg.12, 28, 28, 45)
  • Ammo tier  -  Max. damage (eg.33, 33, 42, 51)

You will find the max. damage in the description of the items. The damage tier is related with the armor tier of body armor and helmets. When shooting at armed targets, the following will apply:

  • Ammo tier < Armor tier  -  Shots only deal reduced damage to target
  • Ammo tier = Armor tier  -  Shots can deal increased damage to the target
  • Ammo tier > Armor tier  -  Shots can one-hit-kill a default player (20 HP)

*I initially created the add-on for my Minecraft map "Get Out". Get Out is a fully functional singleplayer/multiplayer extraction shooter and therefore requires a lot of additional content like retextured vanilla blocks and entities that make the game functional. People might expect this here, when it is not.
