Welcome to the Ghost Add-on. In this Minecraft Bedrock add-on, when you die, you will respawn as a ghost. How do you get started? Let's begin.
Firstly, you must travel to a Pillager Outpost or a Woodland Mansion and obtain the Totem of the Afterlife.

Just like with a vanilla totem, you must die with the totem in hand and you will respawn as a ghost. In your death spot, you will leave behind a tombstone that'll carry all your items.
To respawn as a normal player, you will need to die while holding the Totem of Resurrection, which can be obtained from killing the Ender Dragon.

GHOST PLAYER:

As a ghost, you will:
- burn in daylight
- phase through mobs
- not be attacked by monsters, except for Pillagers.
- no longer take suffocation damage due to the lack of a stomach
- no longer take poisonous damage due to the lack of flesh
- be emissive
As a ghost, you will also have abilities that need to be unlocked to give you the full ghostly experience.
Invisibility:
You will need to survive a full day in game to unlock this ability. During this time, you will slide in and out of the invisibility state uncontrollably. If you die, you will lose your progress. Once unlocked, you will be able to go invisible at will.
Intangibility:
You will need to kill 100 ghost mobs to unlock this ability. Once unlocked, you will be able to go intangible, take no damage (except from the sun), and phase through walls.
Flight:
With the levitation effect, you must travel above y-level 250. Once unlocked, you will be able to fly.
Telekinesis:
You must interact with a ghost mob at an experience level of 50. Once unlocked, you will be able to lift mobs and blocks alike.
Possession:
With a Nether Star in hand, you must sneak atop Soul Sand/Soil. Once completed, you will be able to possess any mob, as long as it has a body and a pure soul (so not undead).
When possessing a mob, you will have a Soul Energy bar. Your Soul Energy will gradually run down, and once it does, you will no longer be able to possess a mob. Your Soul Energy only recharges at night, but not on a night of a new moon.
Currently, you can only possess a total of 23 mobs (with more on the way):
- Bat
- Bee
- Blaze
- Camel
- Cave Spider
- Chicken
- Cow
- Creeper
- Enderman
- Endermite
- Fox
- Frog
- Goat
- Hoglin
- Magma Cube
- Mooshroom
- Ocelot
- Pig
- Polar Bear
- Rabbit
- Sheep
- Silverfish
- Slime
Can you figure out what each mob can do?

All these abilities can be unlocked in any order!
GHOST MOBS:
There are also ghost mobs that can spawn naturally in your world in every dimension. Depending on where they spawn, they also have different variants. These ghosts are able to use every ability the ghost player can use, excluding Possession and Block Telekinesis. They spawn in the dark, so be careful! Luckily, they do not spawn on nights of a new moon.

MISCELLANEOUS:
This Add-on, outside of the ghosts, also offers a few vanilla enhancements.
STEEL:

Steel is a newly-added material. It is obtained from smelting Iron Ingots in a Blast Furnace. This will result in Steel Nuggets that, like any other nugget, can be crafted into Steel Ingots. These ingots can therefore be crafted in your tools and armor.
The main use of steel in this add-on is to craft the new and powerful Steel Polearm (see crafting recipe in Crafting Table). This weapon, although similar in behavior to a Trident, is slightly stronger. Test it out and have fun!
TOMBSTONE:

The tombstone is a block that will spawn when you die and respawn as a ghost, but it can also be crafted with a Gold Block and some Stone (see crafting recipe in Crafting Table).
As a ghost player, the tombstone will allow you to set your spawn point like a bed, but you won't be able to skip the night. You can also interact with it to place flowers in a Flower Pot, so it can also be used as some form of decoration.
TIPS AND WARNING:
- Because of the fact that this add-on directly affects the player's behavior and client files, be sure to place this add-on at the top of your Behavior and Resource Pack lists in your world if your world has multiple add-ons enabled.
- Please avoid using the "/kill" command as some abilities and blocks use entities that are essential to their functions.
- When a Steel Polearm is on the ground, do not shut down the world because its data will be lost.
- When using an ability, do not shut down the world because it may lead to glitches when you reload.
- Do not leave the world while possessing a mob. Please exit the mob beforehand because issues may occur!
- When playing on a mobile device and on multiplayer, disable "Location" because it may cause lag issues that disrupt how the add-on functions.
- The add-on, due to Block Telekinesis, supports up to 19 players. More than that may cause Block Telekinesis to not work properly if everyone uses the ability at once. Just keep that in mind.
- Do not switch dimensions while using Block Telekinesis. If you do, do not try placing the block in the new dimension, but do it in the previous one.
- Experiments do not need to be turned on.
- Please report any issues or leave any suggestions in the comments below.
Enjoy the add-on and have fun!
