Free Cam

Free Cam is a Minecraft Bedrock addon that lets you leave your body behind and explore the world in Astral Form. Your original body is replaced by a visible body dummy that keeps important information such as your name, health, and equipped armor.

Explore freely, return to your body when you are ready, or face the consequences if your abandoned body is destroyed.

Features

🌀 Astral Projection

Use:

/freecam:leave

to leave your body and enter Spectator Mode.

Your body remains at your original position while you explore the world as a free camera.

🧍 Body Dummy

When you leave your body, a Body Dummy is created at your exact position.

The dummy can display:

• Your player name
• Your current health
• Your equipped armor
• Your original position and rotation

This makes your abandoned body easy to identify, especially in multiplayer worlds.

↩️ Return to Your Body

Use:

/freecam:return

to return to your original body.

Your position, dimension, rotation, and game mode are restored automatically.

📏 200-Block Range Limit

Astral Form has a maximum distance of 200 blocks from your body.

If you travel too far away, Free Cam automatically pulls you back to your original body.

💀 Body Death System

Your body is not invulnerable.

If the Body Dummy is killed, Free Cam treats it as the destruction of your real body:

• You are automatically returned to your original location.
• The body dummy is removed.
• Your player is killed.

This adds an extra risk to exploring dangerous areas while in Astral Form.

👥 Multiplayer Support

Each player receives their own individual body dummy.

Multiple players can use Free Cam at the same time without sharing the same body data.

✨ Visual & Sound Effects

Free Cam includes effects when entering and leaving Astral Form, including sounds and particles to make the transition feel more immersive.

Commands

The commands are available without requiring cheats.

Compatibility

• Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.26+
• Requires both the Behavior Pack and Resource Pack
• Supports multiplayer
• Uses the @minecraft/server API

Note: Free Cam is designed around Minecraft Bedrock's scripting system. Make sure both packs are enabled together for the Body Dummy to render correctly.
