Franco-Prussian War: Iron and Blood

The Franco‑Prussian War: Iron and Blood is a mod dedicated to the Franco‑Prussian War of 1870–1871 and brings many changes to the Minecraft world.

 — A variety of units for France and Prussia: chasseurs, cuirassiers, lancers, dragoons, infantrymen, zouaves, and many other units.

- A variety of weapons: the Chassepot 1866 rifle, the Dreyse needle rifle, the Dreyse revolver, the Krupp gun, and other types of armaments.

- Various types of uniforms that you can put on to fully immerse yourself in the game world.

- Different locations you’ll encounter along your journey: French and Prussian field camps and villages.

- Mechanics for joining one side, commanding your own unit, increasing your rank, and capturing enemy villages and field camps.

The mod is in its early stages, and as the developer, I’m looking forward to your feedback and reports about the shortcomings that need to be fixed.

To use this mod, you need to download one files: FPW: Iron and Blood.

To launch the mod in the game: first, activate the mod under "Global Resources" (this will add a new game splash screen and audio) — then, activate the mod in your world settings (there will be three sections); enable the "Beta API" experimental feature, and you're all set to start the game!

How to aim: crouch while holding a rifle or revolver. The view zooms in smoothly (more so for the rifle, less so for the revolver), and bullets land exactly where you’re aiming. Stand back up, and the view returns to normal.

Previously, reloading the revolver was triggered by "crouch + use," which would have interfered with aiming. Now, it’s performed by "crouch + use" while looking at the ground.

Солдаты ведут перестрелки, идут в штыки, получают ранения, бегут и сдаются в плен. Кавалерия атакует на боевых конях, расчёты стоят у своих орудий.

Винтовки Шасспо и Дрейзе, револьверы, пушки Круппа и митральезы.

В мире появляются французские и немецкие деревни с обставленными домами и жителями, а также полевые лагеря; десятки блоков эпохи.

Подпишите контракт с одной из армий, нанимайте солдат, командуйте отрядом свистком, выполняйте задания офицеров, растите в чинах и получайте медали. Карта театра войны покажет фронт и сводки.
