Added

  • Added adaptive performance scaling by server/host RAM tier. Configurable in the menu.
    • A performance configuration is assigned automattically, however if you experience lag or you feel like you can handle more, feel free to adjust the performance boost at the ingame menu. Additionally, reducing the render distance to the system recomended is a good way to reduce any slowdown.
  • Added Afk player stare event
  • Added additional fail-safe to the ending event

Removed

  • Removed Forefox event
  • Removed Wanderer event (There are already other more organic events that fill this role)

Bug fixes

  • Fixed whispers still playing at chapter 1 and 2 after using the Menu altar.
  • Fixed firework being spawned instead of splash potion
  • Fixed music ban, was not being properly enforced
  • Fixed an error were players could be teleported to the Void Village or Alpha Monoliths without it being complete
  • Removed bed uses debug message
  • Fixed failed block recognition in the block placing data storage. Block mapped events were not running as a result
  • Fixed an error that did not allow for the creator farewell to properly play
  • Fixed a bug where the pyramid Influence would not be properly updated at chapter 7
  • Fixed a bug were some Void Village houses could not be properly generated
  • Fixed a bug where villagers would not be properly identified at the Villagers Vanishing event

Improved General Performance

  • Improved scoreboard timer logic
  • Improved randomTick simulation logic
  • Improved scripts start up load
  • Improved AFK event logic
  • Improved world generation script logic
  • Implemented additional caches.

Creator Notes:

This is a more polished version of the Foreboding Project. I have tackled both performance and bugs, however, there may be additional bugs I have not found in my testing or neither has been reported so by reporting any bug to forebodingproject@gmail.com you are actively supporting the development, thanks.

I expect for low end devices to be able to run the Foreboding Project without major issues, still, the lowest device I have is at mid tier and I can't properly palytest below that: so if you experience lag in your playsession please let me know. I'm still going to work in imporving performance but your feedback dictates how hard I go at it.
