Faster Achievements is a Minecraft Bedrock Edition add-on that turns a simple button into an instant structure generator. Need a vault full of loot, a watchtower, a dungeon, or a floating island? Place a button on a special block and it appears right in front of you. It is perfect for speeding up progress, grabbing gear for achievement hunting, or just having fun in creative-style survival worlds.

## Requirements
- Minecraft **Bedrock Edition 1.20.80 or newer**, including the latest releases (Windows, Android, iOS, consoles with add-on support)
- Uses the stable **@minecraft/server 1.10.0** scripting module, which newer game versions also accept
- **Not for Java Edition**, and not for Bedrock versions older than 1.20.80 (the add-on is built on the Script API)
- All the blocks used (cobblestone, iron, gold, diamond, emerald, lapis, obsidian, netherite, amethyst) exist in every supported version. Items that don't exist yet in older versions (such as the mace and wind charge) are skipped automatically.
- This is a **Behavior Pack** (BP) only, so no resource pack is needed

## Installation
1. Download `faster_achievements_v1_7_1.mcaddon`.
2. Open the file. Minecraft launches and imports the pack automatically.
- **Windows:** double-click the file.
- **Android / iOS:** open it with Minecraft from your Downloads or Files app.
3. Create a new world or edit an existing one.
4. Go to **Behavior Packs**, find **Faster Achievements** under *My Packs*, and press **Activate**.
5. Enter the world. You will see the welcome message in chat, which confirms the add-on is running.
> **Updating from an older version:** the pack keeps the same UUID, so the new version should replace the old one. If it does not, remove the old pack from the world's Behavior Packs list and activate the new one. Your builds and chests stay in the world.
> **If the add-on does not run:** open the world settings and, if the game asks for it, turn on **Beta APIs**. Keep in mind that experimental toggles and cheats may affect achievements in some versions, so check your world settings if you care about them.

## How to use it
1. Place one of the **blocks** listed in the Structures section below on the ground.
2. Place a **button** (any type) on top of that block.
3. The structure builds instantly around you, with sound and particles.
It does not need any commands. Stand a few blocks back from any walls first, because structures are built around the button's position and replace the blocks in that area.
### Structures
**Cobblestone + Button** = Vault (9x9 stone brick room with 7 loot chests)
**Cobblestone + Stone Button** = Mega House (big house with basement, tunnels, fence and a loot chest)
**Diamond Block + Button** = Jackpot Vault (small quartz and diamond chamber with 1 chest of top-tier loot)
**Iron Block + Button** = Watchtower (14-block tower with a ladder, terrace and a chest at the top)
**Gold Block + Button** = Golem Sanctum (golden courtyard guarded by 2 iron golems, with a reward chest)
**Obsidian + Button** = Dungeon (underground dungeon with a spawner cage, guards and a treasure chest)
**Netherite Block + Button** = Nether Camp (portal frame and camp, chest with flint and steel)
**Emerald Block + Button** = Sky Garden (floating grass island 20 blocks up, with a reward chest)
**Lapis Block + Button** = Enchanting Library *(new)* (bookshelf room with enchanting table, anvil and a chest with XP bottles and lapis)
**Amethyst Block + Button** = Amethyst Geode *(new)* (layered geode with crystals and a treasure chest)

## Structure guide
### Cobblestone + Button = Vault
A hidden 9x9 room made of stone bricks, lit by sea lanterns. It contains **7 chests**, each filled with random loot. The entrance faces the back of the button position.
### Cobblestone + Stone Button = Mega House
An 11x15 house with stone brick walls, glass pane windows, and a dark oak roof. Inside you will find a crafting table, a furnace, wool beds, and a loot chest. A ladder leads down to a basement with another chest, and two underground tunnels lead away from the house. A fence surrounds the whole property.
*Note: doors, beds, and the fence gate are replaced by simple substitutes (an open doorway, wool blocks, and a gap in the fence) so the house always builds reliably.*
### Diamond Block + Button = Jackpot Vault
The rarest chest in the add-on. The 7x7 quartz chamber holds one chest with **5 stacks of top-tier loot** (totems, nether stars, elytra, tridents, netherite, enchanted golden apples, and more).
### Iron Block + Button = Watchtower
A 7x7 tower, 14 blocks tall. Climb the ladder to the open terrace at the top, where the guard's chest is waiting. Iron bars act as loopholes along the walls.
### Gold Block + Button = Golem Sanctum
A 11x11 gold and hay courtyard surrounded by a fence. Two **iron golems** guard the chest in the middle. They are friendly to players.
### Obsidian + Button = Dungeon
A mossy cobblestone chamber built 6 blocks underground. Climb down the ladder shaft to reach it. A spawner cage in the middle keeps summoning **zombies, skeletons, and spiders** (up to 8 extra mobs, about one every 15 seconds), and two guards wait at the start. The treasure chest is at the end of the room. Bring a weapon and armor.
### Netherite Block + Button = Nether Camp
A full-size obsidian portal frame next to a small camp on netherrack. The chest contains **flint and steel** in the first slot plus supplies. **Take the flint and steel and light the portal by hand.**
### Emerald Block + Button = Sky Garden
A grass island floating 20 blocks above the button, connected by a ladder. It has oak trees, a small farmland garden, a gazebo, and a reward chest.
### Lapis Block + Button = Enchanting Library (NEW)
A 9x9 dark oak library whose walls are lined with bookshelves. In the middle you will find an **enchanting table**, with an **anvil** in the corner and a **scholar's chest** with XP bottles, lapis lazuli, books, ender eyes, and rare treasure. The bookshelves around the table give you stronger enchantments.
### Amethyst Block + Button = Amethyst Geode (NEW)
A 11x11 geode with a smooth basalt shell, a calcite layer, and an amethyst interior. Inside there are amethyst clusters and buds, a glowing sea lantern, and a **treasure chest** with amethyst shards, emeralds, diamonds, echo shards, and more.

## Loot
Normal chests (Vault, Mega House, Watchtower, Golem Sanctum, Dungeon, Sky Garden, Nether Camp) use the main loot pool:
**Common:** flint and steel, ender pearls, blaze rods, saddle, name tag, lead, spyglass, arrows, golden apples, diamonds, iron ingots, emeralds, music disc (Pigstep), turtle helmet, shield, crossbow
**Rare:** totem of undying, nether star, elytra, trident, netherite ingots, enchanted golden apple, heart of the sea
**New in v1.7.0 (12 items):** experience bottles, firework rockets, golden carrots, eyes of ender, wind charges, shulker shells, diamond sword, diamond pickaxe, echo shards, recovery compass, **mace**, **netherite upgrade smithing template**
**Jackpot Vault** only drops the best of the best: totems, nether stars, elytra, tridents, netherite ingots, enchanted golden apples, hearts of the sea, diamond blocks, netherite blocks, the Otherside music disc, mace, netherite upgrade templates, and shulker shells.
**Enchanting Library** chest: XP bottles, lapis, books, diamonds, name tags, ender eyes, golden apples, echo shards, and (very rarely) an enchanted golden apple.
**Amethyst Geode** chest: amethyst shards, emeralds, XP bottles, diamonds, spyglass, echo shards, golden apples, and (rarely) a recovery compass.

## Tips
- Build the structure on **flat, open ground** for the cleanest result. It replaces everything in its area.
- The Sky Garden is built **20 blocks above** the button, so make sure there is open sky above you.
- The Dungeon is built **6 blocks below** the button. Avoid placing it right above lava or a cave you care about.
- Each button works once per placement. Place a new block and button to build another structure.
- Playing on a server or Realm? Make sure the pack is applied to the world and that players who place buttons are allowed to build.

## Troubleshooting
**Nothing happens when I place the button.**
Check that the pack is activated in the world's Behavior Packs list. The welcome message in chat should appear when you join. Also make sure the button sits directly on top of one of the blocks from the table.
**I see red "Command failed" messages in chat.**
These show which block of a structure could not be placed. The rest of the structure still builds normally. Usually it means the area was not loaded or the position was outside the world height.
**The Nether portal will not light.**
That is intended. Take the flint and steel from the camp chest and light the portal by hand.
**A chest is empty or has fewer items than expected.**
Chests are filled the moment the structure builds. Do not place the button in an unloaded chunk, and wait a second before opening it.
**The add-on does not load on my version.**
It needs Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.80 or newer. Update the game, then try enabling Beta APIs in the world settings if the game asks for it.
