New Biome

Ancient Valley

The Ancient Valley is what remains of the Snifffer's home. It will be found in the plains and will be yellow, though it won't be a dry biome. It can rain, and the animals will be normal. This biome is very important because Ancient Sediment blocks can be found in the rock formations at its base. This block is crucial because the Snifffer has been updated and can now only dig in this new block.

RIb Block

Rib blocks will be new decorative blocks that appear in Ancient Valley biomes, as well as in Deserts and Badlands. Their sole function is decoration and as a source of bones. However, their generation is designed so that even if you can't find an Ancient Valley, you won't run out of Ancient Sediment blocks, as these rib blocks will spawn with Ancient Sediment blocks beneath them.

Sniffer Updates.

The Sniffers have been changed for this Add-On. They will now have much more health and knockback resistance. But most importantly, when digging, they can now unearth, in addition to the new plants, two new bones of prehistoric creatures.

New Mobs

The Skritter:

The Skritter is a distant relative of chickens and loosely related to the Sniffer. However, that doesn't stop them from attacking, along with cows, pigs, and sheep. Although they are passive towards the player, if you attack them all, they will turn on you.

They can be bred with raw meat. And they can be tamed with cooked meat, although keep in mind that once tamed, they can no longer be bred. They can also be ridden by equipping them with a mount, and when you press the jump button, the Skritter will let out a very loud roar. This roar will slow and weaken monsters within a 15-block radius for 15 seconds.

Finally, regarding the Skritter: if it is born in a desert or badland, it will acquire a different texture.

The Great Hunger:

The Great Hunger will be small but stubborn. It will be aggressive towards everything, and when it targets something, it will start digging in the ground, making it faster. When fed chicken eggs, turtle eggs, or Skritter eggs, it will vomit up any mineral, the rarest being amethyst, diamond, and emerald. If it hatches in a Pale Garden, it will have a unique texture.

The Colossaurus:

The Colossaurus will be a future boss for the addon. It's not yet available in survival mode, although it can be summoned with the `summon` command. I won't talk much about it because it's still in development, but keep in mind that to get it you'll need to enable the commands and therefore disable achievements.

Items:

Skritter Egg

The Skritter egg will rarely be cracked open by the Sniffer. It will be throwable like a chicken egg and will have a 75% chance of hatching.

Mysterius Egg

The Mysterious Egg will be rarer than the Skritter egg. The Great Hunger will always hatch from it, and it takes nine and a half minutes to hatch.
