Description

Version 1.0 was originally planned to include much more content, but due to development delays, university responsibilities, and life circumstances, we decided to release a smaller version. This approach also helps us identify and fix bugs more easily. Everything included in this release is valuable and useful for survival gameplay.

Features:

Mobs:

Neutral mobs

 Worker

The Worker is a mob found in an abandoned old train station. During the day, he’ll interact peacefully but if he senses a threat, he’ll attack with his powerful double-barrel pistol. He’s tough, so it’s best not to pick a fight. The Worker offers valuable trades and will play an important role in future updates, so treat him with caution.
He also has a small chance to drop his weapon when defeated.

Hostile Mobs

 Crazy Butcher

The Crazy Butcher is an aggressive mob found in certain structures, always busy doing what he loves most: dismembering. He will attack you on sight and leap onto your back to make it easier to hack you apart with his machetes. Getting him off is difficult, and you're likely to die before you can shake him loose.
He has a small chance to drop his knives when killed.

Heretic

Heretics are neutral mobs that appear in structures scattered throughout the world. They live in various settlements and supposedly dwell in peace. However, once night falls, the hunt begins — a search for potential werewolves that often ends with them becoming the prey themselves.
At night, they will attack the player using various weapons such as muskets, shovels, pickaxes, pitchforks, and more. They have a low chance of dropping their firearm, as well as silver bullets and salt.

Werewolf

Werewolves can naturally spawn in the world, often near a campfire. These werewolves won’t attack unless provoked, and they can be tamed using "ew:parasitized_blessed_flesh". Once tamed, they become your companion and will attack any target you engage.
However, beware: werewolves transformed by the Cleric's howl will be hostile toward the player. They also have a chance to drop their claws upon death.

Rat Man

The Rat Man spawns in the sewers, a rare structure found throughout the world. He appears in a state of suffering, crying, and worshipping his King. This enemy will attack the player and is highly resilient. He can grab and devour you, restoring his health in the process, making the fight significantly harder. Upon death, he drops his skin as loot.

Scarecrow

The Scarecrow is a mob that spawns in pumpkin fields (and will appear in other structures in future updates). During the day, it remains an inanimate object, but at night it comes to life and becomes extremely dangerous. Upon activation, it unleashes a massive fire explosion and summons a Lost Soul that also explodes when it approaches the player.
Throwing a bottle of holy water at it will return it to its inanimate form. Additionally, if you use it during the day while it's in its scarecrow pose, it will not activate at night, remaining lifeless for the rest of the game. When killed, it only drops straw.

Minibosses

Violinist

The Violinist is a miniboss that spawns in one of the Heretic villages. He appears playing a haunting melody while the heretics dance around a bonfire. During the day, he remains neutral—but once night falls, he becomes hostile and unleashes powerful tunes that grant Strength, Resistance, Speed, or Regeneration to nearby enemies. Upon being defeated, he will drop his violin.

 Churchman

The Churchman appears in one of the Heretic villages. During the day, he can be found praying and may offer the player “blessings” in the form of sweet bread and wine. He is neutral by day but becomes hostile at night.

In combat, he uses martial techniques and will randomly shield himself, making him highly resistant to damage. If the player tries to flee, he will spit fire from a distance—making him extremely dangerous.

If killed during the day, he drops his boxing gloves. However, if defeated at night, he transforms into something far worse...

 Werewolf Alpha

The Alpha Werewolf is a powerful miniboss that appears after defeating the Churchmanat night. He is extremely strong and possesses a unique ability: evasion. With each hit he takes, there’s a chance he will perform a backflip to avoid damage.

Upon death, he drops his pelt—a valuable item that can be used to craft a powerful weapon or sold for a good price.

Firearms are especially effective against him.

 Gravedigger

The Gravedigger is a miniboss found digging in a cemetery. He will warn you not to come closer or disturb him—but if you ignore his threats, he’ll attack without mercy. Strong and relentless, he hurls avalanches of dirt to suffocate his enemies.

When killed, he collapses to the ground. However, if you don’t throw a bottle of holy water, interact with him using a flint and steel, or let him burn, the chest on his back will burst open and a corpse will scream, bringing him back to life and restarting the battle.

He only drops loot at night—his shovel. During the day, he drops nothing. At night, he gains additional abilities, such as digging up coffins from the earth. Once opened, the corpses inside become possessed and attack the player.

Firearms are especially effective against him.

 Bosses

 Rat King

The Rat King is a powerful boss that dwells deep within the sewers, seated on a massive wooden throne. He will attack the moment you get too close, and his durability makes the battle even more punishing.

He can summon swarms of rats, spit at you to blind your vision, and grab you to devour you—restoring his own health in the process. To make matters worse, the rat beside him emits a horrifying scream that buffs nearby rodents, turning the fight into absolute chaos.

Upon death, he drops his crown along with some scraps of rat fur.

Firearms are especially effective against him.

 Pumpking

The Pumpking is a boss far stronger than the Rat King, and can only be fought at night. He appears in a graveyard surrounded by a pumpkin field and scarecrows.
Be careful—if you hit him during the day, he will vanish, and finding him again is extremely difficult.

When the battle begins at night, he starts with basic attacks, but as his health drops, he becomes more powerful and unleashes new abilities. You can tell he’s shifting phases by the eerie twist of his head, revealing a new expression.

His attacks range from summoning infected crows and lost souls to raising thorny plants that hinder your movement.
Once defeated, he falls to the ground—but if you don’t throw a bottle of holy water on him in time, he will resurrect and restart the fight.

You must kill him before dawn, or the fight resets and you’ll have to wait for nightfall again.

Upon death, he drops his scythe and an infected crow that you can tame.

Items

Weapons:

Boxing Gloves

The Boxing Gloves are dropped by the Churchman. They deal solid melee damage and come with a unique ability: Guard Stance.
By interacting while holding them, you’ll enter a defensive position, gaining a Resistance effect—but at the cost of dealing reduced damage.
To return to offensive mode, simply interact again.

Butcher Knife

The Butcher Knife is a weapon dropped by the Crazy Butcher. It deals basic damage for now.
Note: A more interesting and unique use is planned for future updates.

Beast Gloves

The Gloves Beast are the upgraded version of the Boxing Gloves, obtainable through crafting.
They feature a special ability that gives the wearer a 60% chance to dodge incoming attacks by performing a backflip. Successful dodges negate all damage and allow the user to stay aggressive with solid melee power.

Gravedigger Shovel

The Gravedigger Shovel is a weapon dropped by the Gravedigger at night. It deals solid melee damage and grants the ability to unleash dirt avalanches against enemies.
Additionally, it’s highly efficient for digging through dirt, sand, and similar blocks.

Incandescent Scythe

The Incandescent Scythe is the most powerful melee weapon in the addon so far, dropped by the Pumpking.
It deals massive damage and features a devastating spinning ability that hits all nearby mobs, launching them into the air—often killing them instantly.

Musket

The Musket is a powerful ranged weapon that deals high damage and pierces through enemies, making it deadly in clustered fights.
Its downside is the long reload time and reliance on limited ammunition, so it must be used wisely.

To operate, it requires silver bullets, which can be obtained as drops from Heretics or purchased from the Worker.

The Musket is especially effective against parasitic mobs such as the Werewolf Alpha, Gravedigger, King Rat, and others.

Double Barrel Gun

The Double Barrel Gun is the most powerful ranged weapon in the addon. It fires two consecutive shots with minimal cooldown, making it incredibly deadly in close-to-mid range combat.

It can be obtained through the final trades offered by the Worker or as a very rare drop if you kill him.

Note: Currently, it only consumes one silver bullet per shot, but in future updates, it will require and consume two silver bullets as intended.

Violin

The Violin is dropped by the Violinist. Each time you use it, it grants you an effect. To switch between effects, you need to crouch and use the violin to cycle to a different one.

You can choose between Speed, Strength, and Regeneration, and each effect has its own unique musical tone.

Armors:

Rat Man Clothing

The Ratman Outfit is a special clothing set that prevents rats (except the Rat King) from attacking you—unless you strike them first.
It offers less protection than standard Iron Armor, but grants passive stealth among rodent-type enemies.

It is crafted using leather and putrid rat hide.

Crowned Rat Hat

The Rat Crown Hat offers more protection than the standard Rat Hood and comes with a unique ability:
When you're hit while wearing it, there’s a chance it will summon rats to aid you—and on rarer occasions, it may even summon rat man.
This hood is crafted by combining the Rat King's crown (dropped upon his death) with a regular Rat Hood.

Foods:

Sweet Bread

Sweet Bread is a food item obtainable through trades with the Worker. A slightly special version can also be obtained from the Churchman.
It restores the same amount of hunger as a regular vanilla bread.

Wine

Wine is a drink sold by the Worker. A slightly special version can also be obtained from the Churchman.
When consumed, it restores saturation, making it useful for staying full longer.

Others:

Holy Water Bottle

Holy Water is essential for exorcising possessed mobs and ensuring their true, final death.
It is crafted using salt, which can be obtained in Heretic villages, and a bottle of water.

Silver Bullet

Silver Bullets are essential for operating all firearms in the addon.
They can be obtained in Heretic villages, dropped by Heretics with muskets, or acquired through trades with the Worker.

Silver Parasitized Flesh

Silver-Infected Meat is a craftable item made from Rotten Infected Meat—found in the Gravedigger’s cemetery—combined with salt and silver ingots, both of which can be obtained in Heretic villages or from Heretics.

This item is used to tame the Infected Crow, which drops from the Pumpking mortuary chest, and also to tame the regular Werewolf found in certain camps.

Important info:

  • This is my first time using Jigsaw, so I apologize if the structure generation is sometimes a bit off.

  • This addon does not use player.json and does not require experimental features, so it is                       compatible with Realms.
  • You’ll only find this addon on MCPEDL, CurseForge, and maybe Modbay; if you see it on other             sites, it has been stolen.
  • Using the models and textures from this addon in other addons is strictly prohibited.

A huge thank you to all of them. I highly recommend hiring them for your projects; they are extremely professional and efficient in their fields.

Please do not steal the models or textures. I do not authorize the use of these assets in other addons or projects, as this discourages creators from continuing to update and develop addons. Let's be an honest community.

What I do authorize, as the coder and project leader, is examining the code of the entities and their behavior. I believe this could be helpful for new creators who want to learn how to code.
