Estaciones Festivas — Bedrock prototype
A seasonal Add-On with a friendly in-game menu. Chest interactions play original holiday sounds and show particles during active dates. Halloween can trigger an optional text-and-sound scare.
Included
- Halloween (October 1–31), Christmas (December 1–30), and New Year (December 31–January 1).
- Region settings for Mexico (Independence Day and Day of the Dead), the United States (Independence Day), and Ireland (St. Patrick’s Day). The region is selected manually.
- Operator settings for time-zone offset, Halloween and Christmas dates, a manual test date, sound, particles, and maximum scare chance. Personal scare, frequency, and volume settings for each player.
- Open the menu by sneaking and using a clock on a block. Operators can also use
/scriptevent estacionesfestivas:menu.
Install
Import the .mcaddon into Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.130 or newer. Activate the behavior pack in your world and confirm the linked resource pack is active.
Beta scope
This first Bedrock prototype applies effects to normal and trapped chests. It does not yet change chest textures, add custom mobs or loot, identify structure chests, or play imported videos. The date uses the device/server clock with a manually selected UTC offset. The package and calendar rules have been validated; in-game platform testing is still pending. This is a separate project from the Java/NeoForge mod.
