ow it works
You get a Durability Rune the first time you join a world. It's a shiny blue echo shard.
Nothing happens at first. It's just a keepsake.
The magic kicks in at experience level 3. From that moment on, nothing you own wears out. Ever. Mine a whole mountain with one pickaxe. Fight the ender dragon until you drop. Your armour, your tools, your weapons — all permanent.
Drop below level 3 and wear and tear comes back, exactly as normal. So if you ever want to watch a tool die again, you can.
