Final Patch of the First Major Content Update

Added

Nametag-Free Subpack

  • Added an optional subpack that removes enchanted mob name tags for compatibility with WAILA-style addons.

Baby Variants

  • Added baby variants for applicable enchanted mobs.

  • Added visual compatibility with the Tiny Takeover update.

Projectile Protection

  • Added as a possible enchantment for all enchanted mobs, except Endermen.

  • Endermen are excluded since they naturally evade projectiles.

Fire Protection

  • Added as a possible enchantment for all enchanted mobs, except Blazes.

  • Blazes are excluded since they are naturally immune to fire damage.

Fire Aspect

  • Added as a possible enchantment for Enchanted Zombies, Enchanted Husks, and Enchanted Blazes.

Flame

  • Added as a possible enchantment for Enchanted Skeletons and Enchanted Blazes.

Changed

Version Numbering

  • Updated the addon's version numbering scheme to make future releases easier to understand and follow.

  • The previous release, originally published as v1.5.0, is now considered v1.1.0.

Gameplay

  • Enchanted Zombies can now ride Horses, matching vanilla behavior.

  • Enchanted Skeletons can now ride Skeleton Horses, Spiders, and Cave Spiders, matching vanilla behavior.

  • Enchanted Husks can now ride Camel Husks, matching vanilla behavior.

  • Reduced the spawn chance of Enchanted Creepers from 1 in 3 to 1 in 7.

  • Added a safeguard script to ensure enchanted mobs can properly despawn, even when spawned with a name tag.

Fixed

  • Fixed incorrect mob drops.

  • Fixed incorrect mob conversion behaviors.

  • Fixed enchanted mob scaling to better match their Minecraft Dungeons counterparts.

Notes

  • This patch completes the first major content update for Enchanted Mobs.

  • Future updates will primarily focus on introducing new enchanted mob types.

  • Feedback and bug reports are always welcome.
