Description
Echo Relics
Ancient relics, scattered through vanilla structures, summon a hostile guardian when activated. Defeat it to unlock a reward chest — a forgotten civilization's story, told through what it left behind to protect.
What's in the add-on
6 new items
Echo Relic — activates the Echo Spirit guardian
Ancient Key, Forgotten Gem — crafting materials
Echo Compass — points toward the nearest Forgotten Shrine, with exact coordinates
Ancient Sword, Ancient Shield — crafted from Forgotten Gems
1 new hostile mob — the Echo Spirit
40 health, ground-based movement (walks, jumps, avoids water)
Attacks any player within 20 blocks, once every 2 seconds
Damage: 2 (Easy) / 3 (Normal) / 4 (Hard)
Returns to its spawn point if you get out of range, rather than chasing indefinitely
Despawns on its own after several minutes with no player nearby
Periodically bursts with soul particles and an ambient sound while active
On defeat: fades with particles and a death sound, sends a message, and unlocks a nearby treasure chest (emeralds, diamonds, gold ingots, enchanted books, golden apples, experience bottles)
5 custom animations (idle float, attack, hurt, flicker, death) and its own model/texture with glowing eyes and rune markings
Forgotten Shrines
8 shrine locations are generated per world, each 1000–1500 blocks from spawn
Built out of blocks the first time a player gets close to one
Each holds an Echo Relic on its pedestal
Loot integration
Echo Relics, Ancient Keys, and Forgotten Gems added to the loot tables of the Desert Temple, Jungle Temple, Stronghold, Ancient City, and Trail Ruins
Also included
4 crafting recipes
3 custom particle effects (dust trail, glow burst, ambient fog)
7 original sound effects
Compatibility
Current stable release of Minecraft Bedrock Edition. Survival-ready, multiplayer- and Realm-compatible. No commands or experimental toggles required.
Note on loot tables
This add-on's behavior pack loot tables fully replace the vanilla files at the same path (Bedrock has no merge mechanism), reconstructed to be balanced rather than guaranteed identical to the exact current vanilla drop tables.
