Echoes of Magic (Vanilla+)
A gameplay addon that expands survival mechanics without adding new textures, items, or mobs to the game. All changes are built purely on logic, physics, and default effects. It doesn't load the client and is perfectly suited for vanilla setups.
Key Mechanics:

Elemental Zones: At high altitudes (Y > 120), high winds grant a slow falling effect but will periodically push you off balance. Deep underground (Y < -30), regular torches go out unless powered by a nearby redstone signal. In the desert, rain turns into a blinding sandstorm.

Movement Magic: Double-crouching (Shift) while sprinting triggers a forward dash at the cost of hunger. Falling from a height while holding Shift creates a shockwave that knocks back nearby mobs.

Equipment Rebalance: A full set of leather armor now grants a +15% movement speed boost. A full netherite set slows the player down by 10% but provides 100% knockback resistance.

Atmosphere: Added new ambient cave sounds and a pulsing heartbeat effect when at critically low health (under 1 heart).
