DyingDayZ REBORN brings back the classic addon with revamped features, including smoother gun animations, 3D items, and new stats for Minecraft's latest version.

In this version of DyingDayZ, I revamped and changed the old one into new and fresh 3D stuff, basically, this addon still uses the old gameplay mechanic just added new stats and effect and change almost everything into 3D, trust me, it's better than old DDZ before.

So let's start from entering the world with the addon. At the start when you enter your world with survival mode active, you'll get starter loot and starter gun with some ammo to help you upgrading your tools, your inventory will be locked so your main task is to craft a backpack, and upgrade it, recipe will be shown once you get some material such as leather and chest.

Make sure to get tripwire hook to open your backpack! Each backpack has different storage size, upgrading your backpack will increase your inventory slot.

Sometimes, some vest armor will give you extra 4 slots to your inventory, but be careful, once you lose/remove it, you will lose your item on that pocket too!

Thirst-Bar

Thirst duration is now increased, making you stay hydrated longer than before, and the good news is, all beverages are now 3D but still with simple animation. Don't worry, it will be updated in future updates (maybe).

Some of the beverages give you some effect and have different thirst points. There are lots of 3D beverages here that you could explore by yourself. You can get them from loot boxes through structures.

Guns

Now for the guns, I have good news: the guns now don't have hit immunity delay, which means that you could use guns for PvP, but not for that shotgun lol. Bullets also don't ignore armor when hitting an entity that wears armor, and have a unique hit sound depending on where the bullet landed. Thanks to @Fritzertwwaddon and his team for letting me use their bullet and armor script.

Each gun is categorized into 3 types of range:

Long Range: Infinity (depends on how much your chunk load)
Mid-range: 30-32 blocks away
Short Range: 14-15 blocks away
Very Short Range: 7 blocks away

Each gun also has its own bullet type, recoil, and fire rate. You can find the bullet type information in the name of the gun.

Secret Gun

Secret gun cannot be obtained from cheat or creative inventory, you need to find it through loot box then craft it, or you can get it from a code, join my discord to get the gun codes or watch my video about how to get them. The Minigun is still work in progress, so you couldn't get it from survival, but you still can use and test it.

Attachment

There are various combinations of attachment, you can test it by yourself, it is also craftable in survival. To put attachment is so simple, just put your attachment on your offhand slot while holding the gun that supports the attachment, the attachment will automatically be added. To remove, put your gun that has an attachment on it on your offhand slot. More Updates, More Attachment.

Food (Test)

Food now comes in 3D!!

There are plenty of food inside the addon, such as biscuits, chocolate, and other canned food, all of them are 3D and fully animated. Why wouldn't you try it now?

Bleeding

When a player receives continuous damage from another player/entity, it can cause a bleeding effect. Your screen will be bloodied, and you'll receive damage every 5 seconds, which can only be cured using a bandage.

Injured

When you take small fall damage continuously, you'll get injured and receive a permanent slowness II effect, which means you can walk but can't sprint. This can be cured using a splint, surgical kit, and survival kit.

Infected

When you get attacked by infected or zombies, there is a 1:3 chance to get yourself infected. At this moment, you'll receive a permanent hunger effect, which can only be cured using an antidote. I am still searching for a way to make this effect more deadly and realistic.

You can also infect civilians and other players too when you get this status!

Black Limb

When you take too much fall damage or get fall damage when your health is low, you'll receive a black limb effect, which means you can't move (Permanent Slowness V). This can only be cured using a Surgical kit or Survival Kit.

Medicine

Let's describe the medicine and its effects.

Splint

Used to cure minor leg injury (injured effect).

Rags Bandage

Can be crafted using 4 rags. Gives you a very small amount of regeneration, stops the bleeding effect, and has a 1:3 chance to get poisoned after using this.

To get rags, you can craft 2 cloth in order to get it

Bandage

Gives you more regeneration effect and heals faster using this.

Antiseptic Bandage

Has a high regeneration effect among all bandages, also gives you some absorption effect for 60 seconds.

Painkiller

First-person view with gun and backpacks.

Survive from dying with this painkiller, gives you a small absorption effect for 30 seconds, so you can stay longer while searching or heal your wound when your health is very low.

Antidote

First-person view in grassy terrain.

Cures infection effect.

Survival Kit

First-person view in a grassy field.

Fixes your black limb problem.

Surgical Kit

First-person view holding a red item.

Fixes your black limb problem and restores 100% of your health instantly.

Stimshot

Same as a totem but gives you a second life to avoid your death when you are nearly dead. (It works almost with all weapons!) just place it in the offhand slot.

Vehicle

For now, there is only one vehicle that you can find in the overworld. To get the vehicle, you need to craft a steel plate using 4 iron ingots. You'll need a total of 10 steel plates to fix a broken vehicle that you found. Interact while holding the steel plate to repair.

After you repair it, you need fuel. You must craft an empty can then find a gas station structure and interact with the red oiled barrel. You can craft an empty can using trash that you can collect from the trash can block.

Interact with the vehicle while holding the fuel can to fill the vehicle's fuel.

You can also open the hood using the wrench, or open the trunk to access the vehicle's storage with interact+sneak. The vehicle also uses door close and open function, interact to open then sneak+interact to close it. You can only open the trunk when the door & hood car is closed.

Melee Weapon

There are lots of 3D melee weapons, next time I will improve the melee animation. Each melee weapon has different damage and durability depending on how rare it is.

Entities

Same as the old DyingDayZ addon, this version still brings the old entities from the old version, not all, some of them are removed and changed, or will be added in future updates later. Also, entity spawn rate is now fixed. You will never see 3-4 infected juggernauts/hazmat together anymore.

Infected & Civilians

A normal infected that spawns from the ground just like someone waking up from a grave, they can also eat and infect dead civilians and turn them into one of them.

Once a civilian is dead, their dead body could be eaten by them and suddenly turn into infected.

Witch

She has an ability to scream and summon or call infected near them, she was pretty fast that she can sprint to catch her victim.

Spawn: A little in the day, but highly spawned at midnight.

Kamikaze

Giant creature with an oil barrel on his stomach, when near death, he can run towards you. Make sure to stay away while fighting with him.

Chemical Kamikaze

This one brings a chemical barrel that could explode and his dead body will poison anything around it.

Mutated Kamikaze

This one doesn't bring any barrel but brings 7 infected inside his body, once dead, he explodes and throws some zombies that are ready to slay humans.

This one has 250 Health points.

Mercenaries

This assassin can be tamed using gold that can protect you from a horde of infected. They are armed with a random rifle once spawned, they can do a hit and run till they run out of bullets. While reloading, mercenaries can't run as fast as they do hit and run tactics, but they still can do a melee attack using his rifle (sway rifle).

Deer

The only animal in this addon, you can hunt them to get leather and craft a backpack, he is pretty fast now.

Infected Juggernaut

Only spawns at night, careful, he is pretty fast too, but still fast you at sprint lol. Has growl ability that can kick everyone near them and turn every dead civilian into infected by only stepping at them.

Infected Hazmat

This infected is using a hazmat suit and has the ability to summon dangerous radiation effect gas in his area and made him hard to see while fighting with him. Make sure to use a hazmat helmet while facing him to avoid his poison, but you will still get that nausea effect. He also gives high damage melee attack and turns every dead civilian into an infected civilian.

Doctor

Spawns during daytime, you can trade food with them to get emergency medkits like antidote, splint, and surgical kit.

Merchant

You can sell your useless gun part with him and get brass ingot/gunpowder to craft bullets in return, make sure your device is strong enough to open the trade table XD.

Crawler

Pretty fast and could climb walls but can't break door/open door, I swear, this is the most annoying mob in DDZ addons.

Backup Chopper

Now you can call an air support for your backup to help you beating infected, you can call it by use "call" item that can be crafted or obtained from structure loot.

Skill: Machine gun & Exploding Missile

Workbench

To craft guns, bullets, and attachments, you'll need this block. This block can be crafted using 1x iron block, 1x fletching table, 1x smithing table, and 1x crafting table, or you can just search it inside structures that are generated naturally.

Armor and Cosmetics

Each armor has a different armor point and durability that can't be penetrated by bullets whenever there is no more hit immunity delay for all guns.

Loot Blocks and Decorations

LOOT BLOCK SCRIPT IS NOW UPDATED AND OPTIMIZED, NO MORE LAGGING, FREEZE, OR OTHER STUPID BUG WHILE OPENING THEM. To open, just interact with the block, some blocks may need some item to unlock it, like tactical crate and hazmat crate, you can keycard that used to open these crates from infected entities.

Note: Some structures are generated using command block with always active (not repeated). so you need to play a world with "enable command block" activated, but sometimes, it will caused world delay even stopped for some reason. So play on your own risk
