DupeX

DupeX is a powerful Minecraft Bedrock Edition addon that provides a controlled and flexible item duplication system through custom commands.

Designed with both convenience and server administration in mind, DupeX supports enchanted items, bundles, custom/modded items, access control, item restrictions, and configurable duplication limits.

Whether you're testing an addon, managing a survival server, or simply need a reliable duplication utility, DupeX gives you control over exactly who can use it and what can be duplicated.

/dupex:dupe

Duplicate the item currently held in your main hand.

You can optionally specify a multiplier:

/dupex:dupe

/dupex:dupe 3

/dupex:dupe 10

The command preserves the item's data, allowing it to work with enchanted items, custom items, and supported items containing stored data.

The duplication system also handles inventory overflow automatically. If your inventory doesn't have enough space, excess items are dropped at your location rather than being lost.

⚙️ Duplication Limits

Server operators can also control the maximum multiplier players are allowed to use.

/dupex:limit <amount>

For example:

/dupex:limit 10

This limits players to a maximum of 10× duplication at once.

To remove the limit:

/dupex:limit 0

This allows unlimited multipliers.

🔐 Access System

Server operators have complete control over who can use /dupex:dupe.

Grant or revoke access with:

/dupex:access grant <player>

/dupex:access revoke <player>

Operators are always permitted to use /dupex:dupe, regardless of the access list.

This makes DupeX suitable for multiplayer servers where duplication should be restricted to specific players.

🚫 Item Banlist

Server operators can prevent specific items from being duplicated.

/dupex:banlist add <item>

/dupex:banlist remove <item>

When an item is added to the banlist, players cannot duplicate it using DupeX.

The banlist also checks bundles and their contents. If a bundle contains a banned item, the bundle itself cannot be duplicated.

Shulker Box limitation: Due to limitations in the Minecraft Bedrock Script API, DupeX cannot inspect the contents of held shulker boxes. As a result, banned items stored inside shulker boxes may still bypass the banlist.

🛠️ Reliability & Feedback

DupeX is designed to keep command feedback clean and player-specific.

When /dupex:dupe is executed, only the player who ran the command receives the success message. Other players will not receive unnecessary command output.

Inventory overflow is also handled automatically, with the addon informing the player when items had to be dropped because their inventory was full.
