Droid's Excessive Amount of Hats

Are you tired of boring/limited skins, or maybe you are stuck with the paid dressing room hats that go away when you wear armor, well with Droid's Excessive Amount of Hats on, this is no longer a problem. This addon is still in development and when the full release comes, there will be alot more, but some people wanted hats NOW! so the first 25 hats are in this beta

In order to get hats, you must craft the hats, with the new Hatters' Table, this block is cheap, only needing to polished andesite slabs and four planks of wood. The palate and style of this blocks stay vanilla friendly, and fits in well with your other work stations. Using this table, you can craft most of the hats in this addon, with balanced recipes.

Most hats have the same armor protection as iron helmets, and most will be crafted with 5 iron ingots or a similer recipe. Everything is balanced, and if its not, i'll come back and fix it, I want this addon to not take away from the vanilla experiance

You can also find hats on naturally spawning mods. Skeletons, Zombies, Piglens, Wither Skeletons and all of the varients can spawn with these hats, except zombie villagers. Also, these mobs can spawn with legendary hats! Which can only be obtained from these mobs, and can't be crafted.

This addon takes inspiration from the old java mod, iChun's Hat Mod, but this addon is stand alone from it, Although there is one part of the mod that I did want in my addon, and that is plushies! In the beta, there is only one plushie, me, but that won't be all of the plushies. All major supporters that I deem worthy of a plushie will get there own plushie in the full release. Only if they are able to provide me a skin not from the marketplace. You might be asking, how do I get one? Well, all you have to do is help provide me with hat ideas/designs. Only ones that I accept and you have to have done a few more then one. I do plan on having ALOT of hats in the full release, and I won't be able to come up with them all on my own. You can also help out if you find a bug for the beta or the full release, I will be looking at the forge chat for anyone that wants to support with their Ideas, but not all will be accepted.

Already answered questions

[When will the full release come out?] The full release will come out when I feal that there are enough hats to be worthy of the title of this addon, DO NOT ask me for progress reports.

[Will you update the beta?] No, unless there is a serious bug or problem, I won't be updating the beta, this addon is a side progect of mine, and I can't be bothered to update unless I see a need to.

[Do you like ice cream?] Yes I do like Ice cream, but that seams unrelevent, Why would you ask that?

[Why is this a side project?] This is a side project because I have other, more complicated addons that I would like to work on, and I will sometimes need a break from them.

[Will hats do anything?] No, this will take away from my goal for this addon, therefore if a hat looks like it should do something, like the mining helmet lighting up the cave, it won't unfortunately.

I am happy with this addon, and I am patiently looking foward to being able to finish this addon, whether you just want some cool hats, or you want to role play, this addon is friendly to all that play, and doesn't steal too much from the vanilla experience.

KNOWN ISSUEs,

Hats do not drop 100% of the time, will try not fix, until then it should be fine for most players,

The Miner Helmet doesn't have a glowing texture when enchanted,

The Hatters' Table has an enlarged breaking texture, and table can't be veiwed from distances.

Hatters' Table can only be crafted with oak planks and no other wood types

If enough of these bugs pop up, or there is something else that needs fixing, I will come back and fix them, but hardly any of them effect the addon in a way to were I have to.

If you are having an issue downloading please follow these steps, I messed up a bit and this is how you fix it

1. Change .mcaddon to .zip, if you are having issues, look up a tutorial

2. Right click, then extract folder

3. Open Folder, and your downloads will be there.
