Description
Hatch your own dragon. Raise it. Ride it into the sky.
Dragon Hatchery adds 11 kinds of dragon to Minecraft Bedrock. Find their nests all over the world, hatch the eggs on crafted altars, and raise each one from a tiny Hatchling into a giant Elder you can saddle, fly and fight with.
Works in Survival and Creative, on PC, console and mobile. No experimental toggles needed.
What's inside
11 dragons, each with its own home, egg, altar, look, favourite food and powers: Ember, Frost, Moss, Bloom, Tide, Glow, Void, Magma, Sun, Stone and Bog.
Find nests in the wild: deserts, snowy peaks, cherry groves, lush caves, the Nether, the End and more. Some are hidden underground or under the sea.
Crafted hatching altars: each egg only hatches on its own altar. Watch it crack, then hatch!
Four ages: Hatchling, Juvenile, Adult and Elder. Feed your dragon its favourite food to grow it. Elders are four times the size of an Adult.
Ride and fly: saddle your Adult or Elder. Adults fly wild (they tire, throw tantrums and have to land). Elders fly perfectly and hover.
Dragon powers: fire breath, frost breath, lava spit, solar beams, boulders, acid, blinking teleports and more, plus a huge Elder ultimate for every dragon: Fire Ring, Blizzard, Meteor Shower, Earthquake, Void Nova and others.
Lock-on aiming: a neon blue reticle locks onto the nearest enemy you can see. Your power hits what it's on.
The Dragon Codex: a guide book every player gets on day one. It shows every nest, every altar and item recipe as a crafting grid, and each dragon's food, growth and powers. It fills in as you play.
Elders glow in the dark, and the Glow dragon glows at every age.
Your dragon waits for you: get off a grown dragon and it stays nearby. Sneak + use the Dragon Horn to call it back.
Dragon Settings: choose what dragon attacks can hurt, and whether powers can change the world (fire, craters, ice, mud). Chests and anything holding items are never broken.
How to play
- Read the Dragon Codex you get when you first join (lost it? craft a book + a gold nugget).
- Find a nest in the right biome and take the egg.
- Craft that dragon's altar (the Codex shows the recipe), place it, and put the egg on top.
- Stay close while it cracks three times and hatches. Your dragon will follow you.
- Feed it its favourite food to grow it. Elders also need a special trip together.
- Craft a Dragon Saddle and ride your Adult or Elder. Craft a Dragon Horn for its powers.

Good to know
Maia's Dragon Treat grows a dragon a whole stage at once. It's very hard to make (Dragon's Breath, a Nether Star, an Echo Shard and more), and it's in Creative for instant fun.
Big powers can change the world. Turn "Dragons change the world" off in Dragon Settings if you play on a shared world.
Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50 or newer.
FAQ
My dragon won't grow. Right-click it with an empty hand to see what it still needs. A wild dragon must be tamed first (feed it its favourite food).
My egg won't hatch. It must sit on its own kind's altar, with you nearby.
Where is the Void dragon? In the End. Stand on end stone and listen for a strange humming.
