When you look at other games, such as Fortnite and Pubg, you would realize that these games handle the concept of death very differently. These games have a system that allows players to activate critically injured or "downed" state, allowing teammates and other players to interact with them before they meet their demise.
So then why can't Minecraft do the same?
I mean Minecraft's a multiplayer game just like the rest of them…
Especially with the introduction of the new survival variant, known as Hardcore Mode, it would only make sense. Imagine you are in a critical situation that you just couldn't help yourself to stay alive but would hate to lose all your items, or receive a game over screen. Your friend(s) could come swooping to the rescue!

This mod adds this to Minecraft Bedrock Edition for everyone to enjoy!
Features
- Players now downed when their health is below 25%
As mentioned before, in this downed state, players are considered "critically injured" which means their movement is very slow and sluggish compared to how regular players move (Their only form of movement is to crawl). These players are also constantly bleeding out to death, so you must be fast if you want to be rescued in time. There will also be message in chat alerting other players of this.
- Downed Players can be revived by other players
Once you have traveled blocks and mountains to finally find your downed friend. You must get as close are possible to their character and sneak to begin reviving them. Their health will slowly start to regain until it is completely full and they spring back up into action.
- Bandage Item (v1.7 and higher)
They are a item that can be crafted and when activated they allow you to revive yourself without the need of another player helping you. To activate, hold down the interact button with the item in hand. They are only useful when a player is downed but their revival effect is stacked with the number of players currently helping the downed player.
There are 3 bandage variants
- Copper Bandage
Durability: 150
Effect: Regeneration II
Item Uses: 15
- Gold Bandage
Durability: 60
Effect: Regeneration IV (Very OP)
Item Uses: 6
- Emerald Bandage
Durability: 2,300
Effect: Regeneration III
Item Uses: 23
