Divinity.
A large cultivation-progression addon for Minecraft Bedrock, built around a Chinese-xianxia-style power ladder, and it doesn't need world Cheats, so achievements stay on.
--UPDATE NOTICE--
added a number of new features and systems, mostly to affect the feel and grindyness of the addon. i'm not sure how backwards-compatible this update is, so be warned. it shouldn't affect your existing progress, but it might.
new skill: water walking, unlocked at qi dash mastery 2. fire cultivators also unlock lava walking.
system revamp: qi pool and core grade. this is mainly a mp update. the size of your qi pool and the grade of your core now directly affect how strong each player is, with the difference scaling astronomically as you progress.
if you encounter any bugs, please let me know!
Core progression
- Six realms, four stages each: Body Forging, Qi Gathering, Foundation Establishment, Core Formation, Nascent Soul and Soul Transcendence, each split into Early, Middle, Late and Peak.
- Two meters: a Qi Pool that abilities spend, and a breakthrough meter that only fills once the pool is full.
- How you gain progress: meditation (hold sneak with empty hands, or use a Tome of Meditation), combat, Spirit Stones and Spirit Pills.
- Breakthroughs: minor ones just advance a stage. Major ones are an Inner Demon trial, then a Lightning Tribulation from Qi Gathering onward, which needs open Overworld sky. Totems of Undying can soften it.
- Character variety: each player rolls a Qi Pool size (Small to Very Large), an elemental nature (Fire, Water, Wood, Metal or Thunder) at Foundation Establishment, and possibly a rare physique.
- Fortify Roots: an early-stage roll to upgrade pool size, at 15%, 5% and 0.5% odds.
- Death: you keep your cultivation but lose some breakthrough progress. Unprotected deaths can also drop a sub-stage.
Abilities and techniques
- Movement and defense: Qi Dash/Step, Ethereal Dodge, and a Power Throttle that caps your own strength.
- Domain and perception: Cultivator's Aura (pressure and sense modes), Cultivator's Sight, Time Stop, and Shadow Garden mist.
- Weapon Memory: one permanent weapon imprint stored in your Soul Sea.
- Five Elements Sutra: comes in Low, Mid and High grades, and adds passive Qi regen and Qi Mastery.
- Necromancy: tame undead (explore the world to find out which). You manage them in the Soul Ossuary, a void dimension with personal vaults, and call them with the Ossuary Talisman in Single or Batch mode.
- Split Soul vs Nine Lives: two rival "death-defiance" schools.
- Split Soul gives resurrection charges before permadeath.
- Nine Lives wipes you back to mortality on death but stores up to nine past lives you can wear temporarily.(both work in hardcore mode.)
- Incarnation: a silver projection of you whose mode depends on which school you follow.
- Bloodlines: the Shura Engram (ninja) and Infinity Cross Earring (sorcerer) give transformations with mastery levels, penalties and passives.
World and systems
- Soul Sea: a personal inner-world dimension with a glass deck, a tower that grows with your realm, and a safe-radius fog wall. You invite entities in for 1,000 qi each, with realm-gated caps.
- Cultivation spells: four tiers (Earthen, Storm, Catastrophe, Heaven-Sundering) unlocked from Foundation Peak onward. They include earthquakes, tornadoes, tsunamis, meteor storms, gravity anomalies and void storms, each with cooldowns and mastery scaling.
- Resources: Spirit Stone ore in three grades, three tiers of Spirit Pills, and craftable manuals and tomes. Roughly 140 items in total.
drop suggestions in the comments, thanks!
