New Additions

Roams warm and lukewarm oceans in pods of 4–7.
  • Hourglass Dolphin

The spinner may steal the show, but the hourglass? It sets the stage...

New Features

  • Unique swim animations per species
Every dolphin now has its own swim animation tuned to its personality. Slow and graceful for the Amazon river dolphin, snappy and quick for the Commerson’s, each species finally moves like itself.
  • Spinner dolphin spin
Spinner dolphins perform their iconic spinning leap when breaching. Show off!

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed dolphins not accepting food due to a legacy item ID.
  • Fixed baby dolphins not growing up when fed.
  • Fixed dolphin surfacing behavior on several variants.
  • Fixed spawn egg colors between Atlantic, Common, and Albino dolphins, no more egg hunts!
  • Fixed dolphins abandoning treasure hunting to chase fish, they'll now see the journey through.
  • Fixed all dolphins requiring multiple fish to lead players to treasure.
  • Fixed dolphins not properly following players, give them some grace!
  • Fixed several dolphin variants being completely silent. Ambient sounds, hurt, death and jump sounds now play correctly across all species.

Balance & Behavior

  • Spinner dolphins are the pack's most acrobatic species, they leap higher, breach more frequently, and put on their best shows after dark in larger pods.
  • Hunting is now properly low priority, players and treasure will always come first.
  • Hunting frequency reduced, dolphins are more selective with their time.
  • Pod behavior has been refined across all species, flocking now better aligns with spawn sizes, resulting in more consistent and natural group movement.
  • Rare variants now actually show up, albino dolphins and coral dolphins have had their spawn rates tuned so dedicated explorers can actually find them. Some overcrowded species have also been reined in.
  • Removed the vanilla dolphin variant, the grey bottlenose dolphin already serves as the improved replacement, keeping the roster clean and intentional.
