Display It Addon
The Display It Addon introduces a simple way to create floating text, fake block displays, and item displays in Minecraft Bedrock Edition. These displays can be customized with size, direction, color, and even stretching, giving mapmakers and builders more control over how information and visuals appear inside their worlds.
Text displays let you summon words or sentences directly into the world. They support the legacy § color codes, which means text can be customized with any Minecraft formatting color. You can adjust the size to appear normal or small, and position the text at specific coordinates. Fake block and item displays use the game’s vanilla textures and models but appear as decorative objects rather than real interactable items. They can be scaled, rotated, or stretched to suit different purposes, from signs and props to minigame boards and decoration.
Creating these displays does not require external tools or complicated commands. Everything can be summoned with simple chat-based commands or by using the included spawner items. Text can be changed directly, displays can be rotated or stretched, and items or blocks can be chosen freely by ID.
Instructions
After installing the pack, enter your world with cheats enabled. To create a display, type commands directly into chat. For text, use !spawntext|YourTextHere|color|size|x y z|direction|stretch. For blocks or items, use !spawndisplay|item_or_block_id|size|x y z|direction|stretch|mode. Alternatively, you can use the included items called Text Spawner and Fake Display, which summon the entities without needing to type full commands.
Notes
The addon works across most Bedrock platforms, including Windows 10, Android, iOS, and consoles. Some limitations apply: colors may look slightly different depending on platform, advanced stretching is best-effort, and displays do not persist if removed. Despite this, the addon provides a lightweight and flexible way to bring signs, decorations, and custom labels into your world.
