Dehydration & Temperature Survival

Dehydration & Temperature Survival adds two new survival challenges to Minecraft Bedrock: Thirst and Body Temperature. Food alone is no longer enough — you must drink water and keep your body at a safe temperature to survive.

💧 Thirst System

Your hydration slowly decreases while you explore the world. Activities such as movement and surviving in hot environments can make you lose water faster.

• Drink Water Bottles to restore hydration.
• Low hydration gives warning messages.
• Severe dehydration can cause negative effects.
• At zero hydration, the player begins taking damage.

🌡️ Body Temperature System

Your body temperature changes depending on the environment around you. Staying too hot or too cold for too long can become dangerous.

• Hot biomes increase body temperature.
• Cold and snowy biomes decrease temperature.
• The Nether is extremely hot.
• Water and cold environments can cool the player.
• Fire, lava and other heat sources can increase temperature.
• Extreme temperatures can damage the player.

🔥 Stay Warm

Cold environments require preparation. Heat sources such as campfires can help you stay warm, while suitable equipment can reduce the effects of cold temperatures.

❄️ Stay Cool

Deserts, the Nether and nearby heat sources can cause overheating. Finding cooler areas, entering water or using suitable protection can help control your temperature.

• Leather Armor can provide additional protection against cold environments.
• Fire Resistance can help protect against extreme heat.

A compact status display helps you keep track of your survival conditions while playing.
