This add-on introduces and easy to use function to use Death swap in Minecraft. There are 3 modes in this addon.
1. Specific time, 2. Random time, 3. Custom time.
1. Select Specific Time
Choose a fixed swap interval from the available options.
Available Times:
- 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, or 60 minutes
- 20-second Test Mode
How to Use:
1. Use the DeathSwap Book to open the main menu.
2. Select Select Specific Time.
3. Choose your preferred time.
4. Press Submit to return to the main menu.
5. Press Start DeathSwap to begin.
The selected interval stays fixed for each swap cycle.
2. Random Time
Let DeathSwap choose a random swap interval.
How to Use:
1. Open the DeathSwap main menu.
2. Select Random Time.
3. Enter the minimum and maximum time in minutes.
4. Press Submit.
5. Press Start DeathSwap to begin.
Each new swap cycle chooses a fresh random whole-minute interval within the configured minimum and maximum.
The exact selected interval is not announced in chat, keeping the timing unpredictable.
3. Custom Time
Set your own swap interval in minutes.
How to Use:
1. Open the DeathSwap main menu.
2. Select Custom Time.
3. Enter a positive whole number of minutes.
4. Press Submit.
5. Press Start DeathSwap to begin.
There is no fixed limit in Custom Time mode. The interval repeats at the selected duration when Repeat is enabled.
How To Start DeathSwap
Start the game using the mode and time you selected.
How to Use:
1. Configure a time mode.
2. Return to the main menu.
3. Select Start DeathSwap.
DeathSwap requires exactly two players to start. More than two players will be added in future.
A countdown appears during the final 10 seconds before each swap.
DeathSwap Settings
Till now there is only one setting as Repeat.
Control whether DeathSwap ends after one swap or continues automatically.
How to Use:
- Open the DeathSwap Settings menu using the gear like settings item or crouching and using the deathswap book.
2. Toggle Repeat between ON and OFF.
Repeat OFF
- DeathSwap runs for one swap cycle.
- The cycle ends after that swap.
- Start another cycle manually when desired.
Repeat ON
- Start DeathSwap manually once.
- After the first swap, the game continues automatically.
- Fixed and Custom modes reuse the selected interval.
- Random Time mode chooses a new interval for each cycle, within the configured range.
DeathSwap Kit Command
Get the combat and survival kit using the command:
"/deathswap_kit"
Kit Contents:
- Iron Helmet — Protection I
- Iron Chestplate — Protection I
- Iron Leggings — Protection I
- Iron Boots — Protection I
- Iron Sword
- Iron Axe
- Iron Pickaxe
- 16 Ender Pearls
- 1 Water Bucket
- 64 Cooked Porkchops
- Shield — Unbreaking enchantment
How to Use:
1. Open the in-game chat.
2. Enter "/deathswap_kit".
3. Run the command to receive the kit.
Important Notes
- Configure your preferred time mode before starting.
- Random Time keeps its chosen interval hidden.
- The swap countdown appears only during the final 10 seconds.
- Use the exact command "/deathswap_kit".
