Death Corpse & Coords

Death Corpse & Coords is a Minecraft Bedrock addon that saves your items inside a skeleton corpse when you die and shows your death coordinates in chat. No more losing your stuff to lava, despawns, or forgetting where you died.

What it does

When you die:

• A skeleton corpse (Death Corpse) spawns at your death location
• All your items are saved inside the corpse — nothing drops on the ground
• Your death coordinates and dimension are shown in chat
• After respawn, you get a reminder message with the corpse location

When you find your corpse:

• Point your crosshair at it to see the player name tooltip
• Tap/interact to collect all your items instantly
• Armor auto-equips back to the correct slots (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots)
• If your inventory is full, overflow items drop at your feet
• The corpse disappears once all items are collected

Features

• Items transfer directly from inventory to corpse - nothing ever touches the ground, safe near lava and fire
• Armor auto-equips when collecting (helmet, chestplate, leggings, boots, elytra, shield, totem)
• Death coordinates shown in chat with dimension name (Overworld, Nether, The End)
• Respawn reminder message with corpse location
• Custom skeleton corpse model lying on the ground
• Player name tooltip appears when looking at the corpse (works on all platforms)
• "Collect Items" interact button on mobile/touch
• Works in all dimensions — Overworld, Nether, and The End
• No Beta APIs, no experiment toggles, uses stable Script API
• Lightweight, works on 1.21.0+

Important note This pack will not appear in the main Settings → Packs menu. To activate it, edit or create a world, go to the Behavior Packs section, and enable the addon there. The Resource Pack will activate automatically.

How to use

• Your items are saved in the Death Corpse at your death location
• Follow the coordinates shown in chat to find your corpse
• Point at the corpse and tap/interact to collect everything
• No commands, no settings - just die and recover!
