1.2.0 - 2026-09-01

Achievement release. Worlds running the pack keep earning achievements.

Added

  • Add-on product type. manifest.json now carries a metadata block with "product_type": "addon". Without it Bedrock cannot tell a behavior pack apart from a cheat pack and disables achievements for the world; with it, achievements stay enabled. The flag does not change how the pack behaves in game.
  • README section covering achievements, the conditions that still disable them (cheats, experimental toggles, Creative, third-party servers) and the fact that the world flag is not retroactive.

Changed

  • Pack and module versions raised to 1.2.0.

Known limitations

  • The achievement flag lives on the world, not on the pack. A world that already lost achievements keeps them off after updating; a new world is required.
