This addon adds new crafting recipes some examples of new crafting recipes this addon adds are

Enchanted golden apples made with 8 gold blocks and a apple!

Elytras made with one popped chorus fruit, a nether star, and 6 phantom membranes

Any horse armor made with 6 of the material of the armor and one wool (ex 6 diamonds and one wool makes diamond horse armor)

this addon also makes it so you can smelt full blocks of raw material (ex a block of raw iron in a furnace or a blast furnace makes a block of iron)
