Crafting Improvements is a simple vanilla addon that changes the vanilla crafting recipes to be more realistic and immersive. Crafting Improvements is designed to improves the overall experience to the vanilla game by adding little things like craftable horse armor and a better painting recipe.

Cloth is a new essential item required to craft a crafting table. Cloth can be crafted with 2 string and 2 thread.

Thread

Thread is a new stronger form of string used for crafting cloth and a loom. Thread is crafted with 2 string.

Iron Plate

The Iron Plate is a new item used for crafting varius iron things including iron armor, iron horse armor, and a smithing table.

Gold Plate

The Gold Plate is a new item used for crafting varius golden things including gold armor, gold horse armor, and golden apples.

Chain Link

Chain Links can be used to craft chains and chainmail and is crafted with 1 iron nugget.

Phantom Fabric

Phantom Fabric is a new rare item used for crafting the Elytra.

Cloth can be crafted with 2 string and 2 thread.

Iron plates can be crafted with 2 iron ingots and 2 iron nuggets.

Chain links can be crafted with 1 iron nugget.

Dryed membrane can be made by smelting a phantom membrane.

Phantom fabric can be crafted with 4 dryed membrane, 4 cloth, and 1 string.

A name tag can be crafted with 2 paper and 1 chain link.

An iron helmet can now be crafted with 5 iron plates and 1 cloth.

An iron chestplate can now be crafted with 8 iron plates and 1 cloth.

Iron leggings can now be crafted with 7 iron plates and 1 cloth.

Iron boots can now be crafted with 4 iron plates and 2 cloth.

Iron horse armor can be crafted with 6 Iron plates and one cloth.

Gold horse armor can be crafted with 6 golden plates and one cloth block.

Diamond horse armor can be crafted with 6 diamonds and one cloth block.

A saddle canbe crafted with 3 leather, 2 string, and 2 chain links.

A totem of undying can be crafted with 4 gold blocks, 4 diamonds, and 1 emerald block.

A golden apple can now be crafted with 8 gold plates, and 1 apple.

A bell can be crafted with 5 gold ingots, 2 planks, 1 stick, and 1 copper ingot.

A stonecutter can now be crafted with 3 smoth stone, 2 sticks, 1 redstone torch, and 1 iron ingot.

A smithing table can now be crafted with 5 iron plates, 3 iron ingots, and 1 plank.

A smoker can now be crafted with 3 sticks, 2 logs, 2 planks, 1 furnace, and 1 coal.

A grindstone can now be crafted with 2 logs, 2 planks, and 1 smoth stone.

A blast furnace can now be crafted with 5 iron plates, 3 smoth stone, and 1 furnace.

A cartography table can now be crafted with 1 plank, 2 cloth, 2 paper, 3 iron nuggets, and 1 compass.

A loom can now be crafted with 3 planks, 3 sticks, and 3 thread.

A bed can now be crafted with 3 planks, 3 wool, and 3 cloth.

A white banner can be crafted with 2 sticks, 2 white wool, and 2 cloth.
