craft packed mud

This is a "Vanilla+" addon that lets you craft 4 blocks of packed mud using 4 blocks of dirt in the crafting table grid.

The recipe has a 1:1 ratio: 4 dirt blocks in the grid yield 4 packed mud blocks.

So, 64 blocks of dirt = 64 blocks of packed mud.

Achievement-friendly!

You know the vanilla recipe for packed mud? 1 mud block and 1 wheat!

Yay. Great.

So, according to the lore, Minecraft's primitive people supposedly used that recipe for their ancient structures?

I don't know...

That recipe is far too expensive for primitive people!

Traveling tens of thousands of blocks for hours to

find the mangrove biome...

farming mud,

farming wheat—harvesting it, replanting it, etc...

Far too slow and tedious.

A primitive person would have just grabbed their copper pickaxe and mined cobblestone like everyone else!

Common sense!

This mod specifically fixes that game design error left by Mojang.

With "Craft Packed Mud," you can use this nice-looking block more easily during the early game...

For reasons beyond my control,

this custom recipe only works in the crafting table, not in the inventory.
