Description
π§οΈ CloudRainStalker V5-AnimationUPD
They look like players. Until they don't.
Three stalkers live in your world as fake players: real name tag, real "joined the game" message, even chat. Walk too close and they twitch, flicker, scream, and morph into monsters.
β οΈ Upgrading? Remove or disable all older Cloudrain Stalker versions first. They share the same entity IDs and will conflict.
π The Disguise β Transformation
Human form: every non-hostile stalker looks like a normal player (standard model), wanders, and chats things like <Mira_x> did you hear that?
They notice you when:
| You are | Noticed within |
|---|---|
| π€« Sneaking | 5 blocks |
| πΆ Walking or standing | 10 blocks |
| π Sprinting | 16 blocks |
You must stay in range for about a second, walls block detection, and punching one reveals him instantly. Sneak past at 6 blocks and he never knows you were there.
The transformation (new!): he freezes, turns to face you, convulses, flickers in and out, smoke and soul wisps leak off him, a scream plays, and he bursts into his monster form with a camera shake: "β¦that was never a player." Only then does he go hostile.
ποΈ The Stalkers
π΄ Cloudrain: reacts to your eyes
Every encounter plays out differently: he teleports behind you, appears face to face, blinks (vanishes, footsteps creep closer, then he's there), or retreats and goes back to looking human.
| Phase | Name | Damage | Special |
|---|---|---|---|
| I | The Watcher | 2 hearts | Often just retreats |
| II | The Hunter | 3.5 hearts | Snuffs out your torches |
| III | The Nightmare | 5 hearts | Sky darkens, blindness pulses |
| IV | CLOUDRAIN | 7 hearts | Lightning storm, sonic boom |
He grows the more you look at him and the more chases you survive. Monster form: tall, thin, arms to his knees, horns and a torn cloak. Red glowing eyes, blood mist, and a glitchy flicker.
π Sundown: a living statue
He only moves when you are not looking. Look at him: he freezes solid. Look away: he sprints and hits for 4-7 hearts, speeding up every 45 seconds. Stare too long and your eyes burn: forced blinks black out your screen while he closes in. Spawns at sunset, burns away at dawn. Monster form: a hulking, cracked, ape-like statue with burning sockets and drifting embers.
π΅ Hollow: blind, hears everything
He doesn't care where you look, only how much noise you make. A live Noise meter shows it: sprinting and jumping are loud, sneaking or standing still is silent, mining, building and fighting cause big spikes. Stay quiet for 8 seconds and he loses you. He can fire a sonic boom (6 hearts) after a 2-second wind-up. Break line of sight to dodge it. Lurks in caves. Monster form: starved and very tall, ribs sticking out, soulfire at his feet.
π± The Horror Director + FEAR Meter
A hidden director links all three into one escalating story. Real, hostile stalkers near you raise your FEAR, shown above your hotbar:
FEAR [ββββββββββ] afraid β²
| Fear | Stage | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 35+ | uneasy | Whispers |
| 60+ | afraid | Creepy sounds behind you |
| 80+ | terrified | Darkness pulses |
| 85+ | hunted | Another stalker is sent after you |
| 100 | BREAKING | Blackout |
π Fear builds at night. Daylight calms you fast. Hiding works too: it drains 1.5/s while you move, 3/s while you sneak or stand still. Fake players never raise fear, so they can't give themselves away. Stalkers sent by the Director find you from afar.

β οΈ Good to Know
- Phase IV lightning can start fires. Set
CLOUDRAIN_LIGHTNING = falseinmain.jsto turn it off - Typed chat does not wake stalkers (that needs Beta APIs). Walking, sprinting, noise and punching do
- Players on the "minimal particles" setting will see fewer effects
- Difficulty and armor change the damage you take
- Requires Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50 or newer. Stable scripting API, no experiments needed
