Minecraft Bedrock 26.40 | Behavior Pack + Resource Pack | English
The apocalypse has begun.
checbox's Zombie Apocalypse turns the world into a progressively more dangerous survival-horror experience. As the apocalypse develops, Difficulty increases from 1.0 to 100.0, changing the intensity of the world and pushing players toward stronger preparation, better equipment, and smarter survival strategies.
You may find abandoned locations, establish safe zones, search for loot, complete quests, and fight increasingly dangerous zombie threats—but the longer the apocalypse continues, the less forgiving the world becomes.
Dynamic Difficulty
The addon uses a dynamic Difficulty system from 1.0 to 100.0.
Your current difficulty is displayed directly in the Action Bar:
Difficulty: X.X
Difficulty progresses as the apocalypse develops, creating a gradual transition from the early outbreak to an extreme fight for survival.
1–20: Early Apocalypse
The outbreak is beginning.
-
Lower overall threat
-
Basic zombie encounters
-
Time to gather supplies and prepare
-
Exploration is still relatively manageable
This is your opportunity to establish a base, collect equipment, and prepare for what is coming.
20–40: Rising Threat
The apocalypse is spreading.
-
Zombie encounters become more dangerous
-
Hordes become a greater concern
-
Stronger zombie variants begin putting more pressure on survivors
-
Exploration becomes increasingly risky
Preparation starts to matter. Leaving a safe area without sufficient equipment can quickly become a mistake.
40–60: Dangerous World
The world is no longer safe.
-
More intense zombie activity
-
Dangerous variants and elite zombies
-
Increasing pressure from hordes
-
Greater importance of loot and survival equipment
-
Dangerous events become a serious threat
Survival now requires planning rather than simply fighting whatever appears in front of you.
60–80: Nightmare
The apocalypse has reached a critical stage.
-
Powerful zombie threats
-
More dangerous hordes
-
Elite enemies
-
Zombie bosses
-
Increasingly hostile nights and events
Every expedition carries greater risk. Safe zones, equipment, resources, and teamwork become increasingly important.
80–100: Extinction
The world has reached its final stage.
This is the maximum level of the apocalypse.
-
Extreme zombie threats
-
Powerful hordes
-
Elite zombies and bosses
-
Dangerous events
-
Brutal nights
-
Maximum survival pressure
At this point, the goal is simple: survive the extinction of the world.
Zombie Variants
The apocalypse is not limited to ordinary zombies.
Multiple zombie variants provide different threats throughout the progression of the apocalypse. As Difficulty rises, surviving encounters becomes increasingly challenging.
Zombie Hordes
Zombies do not always appear individually.
Zombie hordes can turn otherwise manageable encounters into dangerous situations. Getting surrounded can quickly become a serious problem, especially during later stages of the apocalypse.
Elite Zombies
Elite zombies provide a stronger challenge than standard infected enemies.
Encountering one can significantly change a fight, particularly when it appears alongside a horde or during a dangerous event.
Zombie Bosses
The apocalypse also features zombie bosses for players looking for a much greater challenge.
These encounters are designed to make combat more dangerous and give the progression system stronger high-level threats.
Infection System
Getting caught in the apocalypse is not simply a matter of losing health.
The addon includes an infection system, adding another layer of danger to survival. Players must account for the possibility of infection while dealing with the increasingly hostile world.
Blood Moons & Dangerous Nights
Nighttime is not safe.
Blood Moons and dangerous nights increase the horror and survival pressure, forcing players to carefully consider when and where they travel.
When the world becomes more dangerous after dark, preparation can make the difference between returning home and becoming another victim of the outbreak.
Random Apocalypse Events
The apocalypse is not completely predictable.
Random apocalypse events can occur throughout the world, creating unexpected situations and forcing players to adapt.
You cannot always know what is coming next.
Loot Progression
Survival depends on finding the right resources.
The addon features loot progression, giving exploration an important role in long-term survival. Searching dangerous locations becomes part of the progression as players look for resources and equipment capable of supporting them through the later stages.
Survival Equipment
Proper equipment becomes increasingly important as Difficulty rises.
Prepare yourself with the resources and survival equipment available to you before venturing into dangerous areas. The further the apocalypse progresses, the more important preparation becomes.
Abandoned Locations & Structures
The world contains abandoned locations and structures connected to the post-apocalyptic survival experience.
These locations provide opportunities for exploration and searching for valuable resources—but entering an abandoned area can also expose you to the dangers waiting inside.
Safe Zones
Not every place has to be a battlefield.
Safe zones provide important locations for survival and preparation. Use them to organize your resources, prepare for expeditions, and regroup with other survivors.
Story & Quests
The apocalypse also includes story and quest systems, giving players objectives beyond simply surviving from one day to the next.
Follow the available progression, complete quests, and experience the world through its survival-focused gameplay.
Multiplayer Support
The apocalypse can be faced with others.
Multiplayer support allows players to work together, share resources, explore dangerous locations, and face hordes, elites, bosses, and events as a group.
Survival becomes a team effort.
Administrator Controls
Server administrators have access to administrator controls for managing the apocalypse and its gameplay.
These controls are designed to provide administrators with greater control when running the addon on multiplayer worlds.
Performance-Focused Design
checbox's Zombie Apocalypse is designed with performance in mind.
The addon focuses on delivering its survival-horror systems while keeping performance considerations important, making it suitable for Minecraft Bedrock survival gameplay and multiplayer environments.

The Apocalypse Gets Worse
The defining feature of checbox's Zombie Apocalypse is its progression.
You do not simply enter a world filled with zombies and remain at the same level of danger.
The apocalypse develops.
1.0 → 20 → 40 → 60 → 80 → 100
As Difficulty increases, the world becomes progressively more dangerous, introducing greater survival pressure and stronger threats. What begins as an outbreak gradually becomes a nightmare—and eventually a fight against extinction itself.
Gather supplies. Find equipment. Explore abandoned places. Establish safe zones. Complete quests. Survive the nights.
And when the apocalypse reaches 100.0...
There may be nowhere left to run.
