Intelligent Dual-Engine Flight System

One of the biggest hurdles in Bedrock is that vanilla creative flight (/ability @s mayfly true) is locked behind the world's "Education Edition" setting. In standard Survival worlds where this is off, other cheat packs simply fail with "Could not toggle flight ability directly."

How to Open the CheatBox Menu

Method 1: Automatic Starter Compass (Recommended) New players automatically receive a vanilla Compass named "cheatbox" on first join. Hold it and right-click (PC) or tap-and-hold the screen (mobile) to open the main menu instantly.

Method 2: Silent Chat Command Type !cb or !menu in chat. The command is automatically intercepted and suppressed, so other players can't see it.

Method 3: Rename Any Item in an Anvil Lost your compass or dropped it into the void? Rename any vanilla item (Stick, Dirt, Book, etc) to "cheatbox" using an Anvil.

Installation

For Singleplayer & Local Multiplayer

Download CheatBox.mcpack and double-click it on Windows, or open it with Minecraft on Android/iOS, to import automatically.
Create a new world or open Settings on an existing Survival world.
Go to Behavior Packs and activate CheatBox.
Important: keep the "Activate Cheats" toggle turned OFF to ensure Achievements and Trophies remain active.
Launch your world and enjoy.

For Realms & Dedicated Servers (BDS)

Copy the CheatBox folder into your server's behavior_packs/ directory.
Add the CheatBox pack UUID from manifest.json into your world_behavior_packs.json.
Start the server, joining players automatically receive the pack.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this really keep Xbox Live Achievements enabled? Yes. CheatBox executes purely via the native Script API server-side, without toggling "Activate Cheats" in world settings. As long as you never turn on the vanilla cheats toggle, Achievements and Trophies remain fully unlockable.

Why did older cheat addons show "Could not toggle flight ability directly"? Vanilla Bedrock requires "Education Edition" to be on to run the mayfly ability command. If it's off, the command fails. CheatBox solves this with a smart fallback: Education Edition on gives you native double-tap Creative flight, Education Edition off automatically gives you Air-Glide Jetpack flight, so flight works every time.

Do I need to enable any Experimental Gameplay toggles? No. CheatBox is built strictly on standard, stable @minecraft/server and @minecraft/server-ui APIs (1.21+), no experimental toggles required.

What if I lose my starter compass? Type !cb in chat, or rename any item (a Stick or Dirt block, for example) to "cheatbox" on an Anvil to reopen the menu.

Can regular players exploit the Admin menu? No. The Admin button only renders for operators (isOp or tagged cb_admin), and the backend enforces strict validation that rejects non-operators immediately.
