


📖 overview
chaotic world is a bedrock addon that completely overhauls combat with multi-phase scripted boss fights, a deep gear progression system, skill-based weapons and armor, and over 116 custom crafting recipes. every weapon has passive effects and active skills. every armor set modifies how knockback works. the world gets harder — but the gear gets much stronger.
⚠️ installation
1. download and double-tap chaotic_world.mcaddon to import
2. create a new world → apply both behavior pack and resource pack
3. go to experiments → beta apis → enable it (required for all boss scripts and item skills)
4. minimum bedrock version: 1.17.0

⚔️ Frozen Sword — Rework
Frozen Sword has been reworked with a brand new passive skill system.
Damage: 8 → 7
Cooldown: 20s → 25s
[NEW] Ice Aura — Hold the sword continuously for 20 seconds to activate a frost aura, granting Resistance I and Slow Falling
[NEW] Ice Burst — Crouch while holding the sword for 4 seconds to trigger an ice explosion, granting Speed II and slowing nearby enemies within 4 blocks
👾 bosses & enemies
all bosses are fully scripted using @minecraft/server api. they have real-time skill systems, phase transitions with announcements, particle effects, and dynamic difficulty scaling.
🧟 giant zombie — the undead warlord
* phase 1: 150 hp, 6 base attack
* phase 2: 400 hp, 6 base attack
skills (scripted):
* ground slam — deals instant damage + slowness in a 6-block radius, summons lightning bolts, creates a lava particle ring
* summon horde — spawns 3 zombies + 3 husks around boss, each buffed with speed ii and strength i
* leap attack — charges toward nearest player within 12 blocks, dealing impact damage
phase 2 triggers automatically when hp drops — boss enters a stronger form.
drops (phase 2): giant zombie hand, diamond block, iron block, gold ingot, rotten flesh, carrot, wheat, spider eye, skull, frozen heart piece (3)
❄️ yeti — the glacial titan (3 phases)
the most complex boss in the addon. has 14 unique scripted skills split across 3 phases. each phase transition is announced to all players.
stats:
* phase 1: 700 hp, 8 attack, 25 blocks detect range
* phase 2: 500 hp, 14 attack, 35 blocks detect range
* phase 3: 800 hp, 10 attack, 40 blocks detect range
phase 1 skills:
* ice ball: 4s cooldown, projectile dealing 6 dmg + slowness i, travels in real arc
* freeze ground: 8s cooldown, converts grass/dirt/water to ice in 5-block radius
* roar: 10s cooldown, aoe slow in expanding ring, knockback
* jump slam: 6s cooldown, leaps onto target, aoe impact damage
* ice regen: 20s cooldown, creates ice shield, heals hp per tick, pushes nearby players
* giant ice ball: 15s cooldown, massive projectile, 6-12 dmg, slowness ii
* summon minions: 25s cooldown, spawns yeti boss pets
phase 2 skills (all phase 1 skills + new):
* blizzard rain: 9s cooldown, ice shards falling from sky in large area
* frost spike: 4.5s cooldown, ground spikes erupt under player
* polar vortex: 30s cooldown, massive rotating aoe
* glacial wave: 8s cooldown, horizontal ice wave dealing 12 dmg + slowness ii
* absolute zero: 250s cooldown, ultimate — full area freeze
* elite army: 225s cooldown, summons empowered yeti boss pets

phase 2 ice ball — upgraded: 12 dmg, slowness ii, faster projectile speed ×1.5

* roar (upgraded): 7s cooldown, 9 expanding rings, 10–20 dmg each, slowness iv
* ice regen (critical): 2600s cooldown, if hp < 25% → activates resistance iv + heals 15 hp per tick, pushes 12-block radius for 12 dmg
* ice chains: 7s cooldown, roots player in place
* crystal barrage: 7.75s cooldown, multi-projectile crystal attack
* frost nova: 40s cooldown, burst of ice in all directions
* glacial prison: 31s cooldown, traps player in ice cage
* absolute zero (upgraded): 44s cooldown, shorter cooldown, stronger effect
* elite army (upgraded): 110s cooldown, summons wither skeletons, husks, strays + yeti pets

* guitar: 4 dmg, 600 dur, active skill (cd 3.5s). repair with any wood type.

🛡️ armor — stats, skills & progression

all dark night, frozen, and crab armor pieces have a passive knockback reduction system:
* each piece worn reduces knockback by 20%
* full 4-piece set = 80% knockback reduction
* this stacks passively — no activation needed

1. immunity to slowness — permanently removes slowness as soon as it's applied, ice particles on shatter
2. emergency heal — when hp drops below 2 hearts (4 hp) → activates regeneration ii for 5 seconds. cooldown: 200 seconds. announces to player.
3. passive regen — if you take no damage for 10 seconds → slowly heals hp. blue flame aura appears during healing.

* dark night apple: 10 food value, effects: fire resistance + health boost iv + night vision + regen iv + resistance ii + saturation + slow falling + speed ii — removes all negative effects (wither, weakness, slowness, poison, nausea, mining fatigue, levitation, hunger)
* dark soul apple: 10 food value, effects: same as above but health boost iii. also removes all negatives.
* emerald apple: 8 food value, effects: fire resistance + jump boost ii + night vision + regen iii + speed ii — removes poison, wither, weakness, nausea
* cooked yeti meat: 8 food value, effects: night vision + regen ii — but also gives slowness iii for 60s
* beetroot cake: 8 food value, effects: removes slowness on consume
