⚡ Chaos Craft — Chaos-Fueled Gear for Minecraft Bedrock
Six hand-crafted tools of pure, glorious chaos. Chaos Craft adds a full arsenal of mythology-flavored gadgets — from a lightning-flinging god weapon to rocket boots, a rift-teleporting wand, an exploding egg, a lucky pickaxe, and a fire-blessed blade — all fully tunable in-game without editing a single file.
Everything in this addon is balanced around one idea: chaos should be fun, loud, and just a little bit out of your control.
🧪 The Items
🥚 Chaos Egg
- Aim the egg up to 16 blocks and throw it
- A chicken hatches out in a burst of feathers
- Scatters 1–3 primed TNT around the impact point with a short random fuse (0.5–1.5 seconds) and a random explosion radius of 2.5–4 blocks
- The blast ignites nearby TNT, so the chaos snowballs
- Stackable to 16
Recipe (crafting table, yields 4): Gunpowder corners, TNT on the sides, egg in the center GTG / TET / GTG
⚡ Zeus Rod
- Right-click to call down lightning up to 32 blocks away
- Full thunder crack + rumble audio and curling smoke at the strike point
- Lightning CHAIN: when the bolt hits a mob, it arcs to 1–3 nearby mobs within 6 blocks — no infinite cascades, one chain per strike
- Deals 6 melee damage (iron-sword tier) as a backup weapon
- 32 durability, 6-second cooldown between strikes, loses 1 durability per use
Recipe: Gold block, redstone, stick in a column G / R / S
🚀 Rocket Boots
- Iron-tier armor: 2 armor points (protection) when worn
- Wearing them grants slow falling — fall damage? What fall damage?
- Hold jump to rocket-boost upward with jet flames and smoke under your feet
- Boots wear out from actual rocket use: lose 2 durability per second of boosting, in addition to normal armor damage from hits
- 320 durability
Recipe: Leather, firework rocket, iron ingot L L / F F / I I
⛏️ Chaos Pickaxe
- 8× mining speed on stone, metal, and pick-diggable blocks (with efficiency)
- Every block you mine has a 20% chance to drop a random bonus: gold nugget, emerald, gunpowder, feather, or a diamond!
- 300 durability, 3 melee damage
Recipe: Gold ingots + blaze rods GGG / B / B
🌀 Rift Wand
- Right-click to teleport to wherever you're looking — up to 24 blocks away
- Ender-pearl sounds and smoke poofs at both ends of the rift
- Blocked teleports are rejected with a friendly warning
- 50 durability, 3-second cooldown
Recipe: Gold ingots, ender pearl, redstone, stick GEG / R / S
⚔️ Ares' Blade
- Diamond-tier damage (7) with 500 durability
- Every hit sets the target on fire for 4 seconds — Ares has no patience for runners
Recipe: Iron ingots + blaze rod I / I / B
🎛️ Tune Everything In-Game — No File Editing, No Reloads
Every single value in this addon is a live tunable. Change it with chat commands or through the in-game settings menu, and it takes effect instantly and persists across world reloads.

Every command has safe min/max clamps and input validation, and all values are stored in world dynamic properties, so your tuning survives restarts.
🎛️ In-Game Settings Menu
Type !menu and get a proper GUI:
- Pick any item to open a slider panel for its tunables, pre-filled with the current live values
- View every value at once, or reset everything to defaults in one click
🏷️ Live Stats on Item Hover
Hover any Chaos item and its lore shows the current live values — cooldowns, ranges, chain counts, boost power, and more — automatically updated whenever you retune.
🏆 Achievements & Rewards
A complete achievement track, with custom rewards:

| Riftwalker | Hop through a rift → 150 XP + 2 ender pearls |
| Chaos Miner | Mine 100 blocks with the Chaos Pickaxe → 300 XP + 3 diamonds + a netherite ingot |
Every milestone fires a gold "Achievement Unlocked!" title, a chat announcement, and a level-up sound — and progress is tracked per player, surviving reloads. The Chaos Miner track shows live progress callouts at 25/50/75 blocks. A native advancement tree (craft/use milestones) is included for engines that honor Bedrock's built-in advancement toasts.
⚙️ Requirements
- Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.20 or newer
- Install both packs: Chaos Craft (behavior) + Chaos Craft Resources (textures)
- Works in worlds, Realms, and multiplayer servers
- Tuning commands are operator-only by default (trivially changeable)
📥 Installation
- Download the .mcaddon
- Open it with Minecraft (they import automatically)
- Apply Chaos Craft Resources to your Resource Packs
- Apply Chaos Craft to your Behavior Packs
- Create or load a world and start crafting chaos!
📝 Notes
- Durability values (rod 32, boots 320) are defined in the item files; all other numbers are live-tunable in-game.
- The Zeus Rod chain and Rift Wand cooldowns are tracked per player.
- Addon-based advancements show as toasts where supported by the engine; the scripted achievement track with full rewards works on every supported version.
