Description
Caveman Art adds a whole new underground discovery, left by our earliest ancestors. Keep an eye on the walls while you explore caves. If you are lucky, you will find art made more than 10,000 years ago: bison and horses in red ochre — the iron-rich earth the real painters used — hunters closing on a mammoth, hand stencils.

Red ochre mammoths on pale stone.

Yellow ochre and charcoal on deepslate.
You will know the moment a new gallery is revealed: a soft glow picks the figures out of the dark and a low cave tone sounds, then the light fades again. And some motifs are rare: secret figures and scenes you can only find, never paint. Most players never see one. Can you?

Blurred secret.
Bring your pigment (included) and you can paint too. Ten figures, diverse colors, on walls, ceilings and floors. Be creative!

⭐ FEATURES:
• Find painted galleries underground — composed scenes fitted to the wall they are on
• New galleries reveal themselves randomly while exploring new areas in natural caves
• Helpful to spot them: finding a new gallery lights the figures briefly and sounds a low cave tone
• 10 figures to paint yourself: bison, horse, mammoth, antelope, hand stencils, hunters, a hearth, and three things from the dark

All thirteen figures. The masked ones can only be found.
• Hunt for the secrets — 3 figures that can only be found, never painted, and rare enough to be worth telling somebody about
• You start with pigment when you join a world with the pack on. Out of pigment? Craft more — Clay Ball + Red Dye → 6, no table needed [Switch motifs via sneak + use; control of colors + orientation currently not supported]
• You can adjust how often galleries appear: Rare, Normal or Often. Click the gear beside Caveman Art in your world's Behavior Packs list. Normal is the default.
• Add it to your world. No experimental toggles. Achievement-friendly
⚡ HINTS FOR EXPLORERS:
• Currently galleries are meant to be found occasionally during exploration of new cave areas, but should still be rare and can sometimes be difficult to spot.
• You find them easiest while running through unexplored caves at low light levels, listening for the finding sound. Once you hear it, look out for the spot of light becoming visible for a short time on one of the walls around you.
• You can additionally increase the gallery frequency via a setting you find in the Behavior Packs list ("Often").
📥 HOW TO INSTALL:
1. Download the .mcaddon and tap/double-click it — Minecraft installs it for you
2. Enable BOTH: the behavior pack with the add-on and the resource pack with the artwork
3. Open a world and go underground. You are handed pigment when you join a new world. Otherwise craft it: Clay Ball + Red Dye.
