Added

  • Pick up blocks by sneaking and right-clicking with an empty hand.
  • Pick up mobs the same way.
  • Place what you're carrying by sneaking and right-clicking a surface.
  • Chest contents, spawner settings, sheep colors, name tags and villager trades are kept when carried.
  • You get Slowness III while carrying.
  • Using items, breaking blocks and opening containers are blocked while carrying.
  • An action bar message shows what you're carrying.
  • If you die while carrying something, it drops where you died.
  • Your carried item is saved if you leave the world and come back.
  • /scriptevent carryon:drop puts down whatever you're carrying if you get stuck.

Known limitations

  • Double chests, doors, beds and tall plants can't be carried.
  • Bedrock, command blocks, portals and fluids can't be carried.
  • Bosses, boats and minecarts can't be carried.
  • Mobs can't be picked up if another mob or item overlaps the same block.
  • Placed blocks keep their original facing and aren't rotated to match you.
  • The carried item shows only in the action bar, not on your character.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.100 or newer.
  • No Beta APIs experiment is needed.
