BunnyHop (Bedrock Port)
Source/Quake-style movement for Minecraft Bedrock. Bunny hop, air strafe and watch your speed climb on a live speedometer. This is an unofficial community port of BunnyHop by tneyyy & kisliy (originally a Fabric mod for Java Edition).
What it does
- Air strafing – while you are in the air, turn your camera and hold A/D (or forward) to curve and add speed, like in Source and Quake games. Good air control lets you go much faster than normal sprinting.
- Bunny hopping – keep jump held and chain your jumps. While jump is held, ground friction is reduced (adjustable, default none), so you don't lose speed every time you land.
- Speed HUD – your horizontal speed in blocks per second is shown on the action bar with a bar graph. The colour changes with speed: blue below sprint speed, then green, yellow and red as you get faster.
- Low-speed jump fix – prevents air-strafe kicks from shortening your jump at low speed, so normal jumping still feels right.
Why you might want it
Movement turns into a skill you can improve. Race friends, build parkour or speedrun maps, cross long distances fast, or just enjoy a more fluid, arcade-style way to move. It works in singleplayer and multiplayer worlds.
In-game settings menu
Hold a clock and sneak + use it (or run /scriptevent bhop:menu) to open the settings. You can toggle BunnyHop, air strafe and the speed HUD, invert A/D, smooth the HUD speed, and tune values such as ground friction while jumping, wish speed and air acceleration. Settings are saved per world.
Installation
- Download the file and open it with Minecraft Bedrock.
- Add BunnyHop (Bedrock) (behavior pack only, no resource pack needed) to your world.
- Join the world, hold jump and start strafing in the air.
Requirements and notes
- Minecraft Bedrock 1.26.50 or newer.
- This pack includes a modified
minecraft:playerdefinition (used for the friction feature), so it may conflict with other add-ons that also change the player entity. - Settings apply to the whole world.
